  1. In Photoshop CS2, When using the crop tool to reduce the size of an image, the crop process has become very slow indeed. It has always been fast in the past and I can find no apparent reason for this sudden slowdown. Even when cropping an image size of 1024 x 768 pixels down to 800 x 600 pixels, is a very slow process. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a simple solution please? Regards, Ron West.
  2. Aginum, Now I understand. It was not you but my own ignorance of how to use the Logo. Your method is a good way of doing it, thank you. Ron
  3. Sorry, but this does not do what I want it to do. I want to use my png frame and then add it (over the top) of each image in an existing slide show. Am I missing something here? Ron West
  4. I have created a frame in Photoshop and saved it as a png image (with transparent centre) I now want to add this frame to all of the jpeg images in my slide show. Is there a s quick and easy way of doing this in PTE please? Ron West
  5. There is also a much older article about PTE here: http://wikipedia.org/wiki/Pictures_to_Exe#PicturesToExe Sadly, my own web site is not mentioned and I don't know how to add it. Ron West
  6. Xaver and Lin, Thanks for the info, so glad that I am not yet senile! Ron
  7. I thought that I read somewhere that Igor has now included the much awaited Video Converter. I can't find it anywhere in Versio 7 beta 16, so am I just getting to old. Ron.
  8. The English for FRENSH is FRENCH
  9. Yes I did understand, but that is not the point I was trying to make. I was referring to the 'Timeline View' when I added a video clip that was 10.5 seconds in length, is showed up in the timeline as 6.5 seconds. This did not happen in Beta 10! Ron
  10. Dave, I do try very hard to keep up, but these changes happen so thick and fast, it is quite easy to miss one here and there. If I need to change all transitions to zero, this must surely be an annoyance? I would like to read the thread that you mention in order to try and understand what is going on, but I can't find it! Ron
  11. Igor, Beta 13 appears to have a new bug! When adding a video clip to a slide show, the timeline view shows that the video clip is shorter in length then it actually is, i.e. the slideview shows that the clip is 10.5 seconds but the timeline shows it as only 6.5 seconds. Ron West
  12. Igor, Why oh why is this problem still happening? It is not helping with the success of Pictures To Exe, when new users cannot get a licence key. Ron West
  13. Thanks Peter, for a very quick reply. Ron
  14. There used to be a small icon at the bottom right of screen that, when clicked, opened up a Slide Box where you could arrange the order of each slide. Where can I fint this in Version 7 beta 12 please? Ron
  15. For future slide shows, you might consider creating a folder called 'Original images' and saving a copy of the larger psd images in that. This way you can always go back and make any required changes easily. I have a pdf tutorial that might help you, let me know if you would like a copy.
  16. Yeah! same thing here. Now that Igor is on the case I am sure that we will soon have a solution to this problem.
  17. Hi Igor and team, very nice web site now. It befits the excellence of the software - number 1 in my opinion. However, where is the link to member web sites where help and tutorials can be found. (Not the one that Ken Cox has created!)
  18. Bary, Did you really mean 300 seconds ?
  19. Lin, This is brilliant! If only we humans could learn to be as compassionate. Ronnie West
  20. Hi Steve and welcome to our forum. Send me your email address and I will send you a copy of my tutorial called 'Making your first slide show' If you work through this, you will know what to do. Ronnie
  21. Hello Igor, Thanks for the detailed explanation of this problem. I can agree that your proposed changes will be an advantage to us all so hope that beta 11 will soon be with us so we can test the value of the changes. Keep up the good work! PTE is now an excellent program. Ron West
  22. I would also like to know where you obtained all of those images, surely you didnn't take them all yourself? My guess is that you downloaded them from the internet, if so, can you provide the links please? The slide show was great and an excellent reminder of 'The good old days' Very well done! Ron
  23. Hello Ave J, Lin is quite correct in all he says and I think that you should go ahead and download version 6.5 (although if you want the really latest version and don't object to using 'BETA' software, you will find that it contains many more new features that make PTE the very best in its class. I think that you may be making an assumption that the program is bad because of the many bug reports that you see on the forum concerning Version 7 beta. Please remember that 'beta' means that the software is being tested by actual users and the sole purpose of beta testing is to find and resolve any bug issues. In this regard, the PTE Forum is an excellent way of correcting any problems. I don't think that you will find a more helpful forum on the web! Please have faith in the Pictures To Exe program, it is much better than many of its competitors. Regards, Ron West
  24. Can I suggest that you first upgrade to the latest version of PTE, it will not cost you anything unless you want to use the 'Videobuilder' contained in the deluxe version. I don't use the 64 bit version but other members have previously reported that PTE runs perfectly on 64bit.
