I have installed Version 7.03 on my laptop but I am seeing strange icons on the slide list, (see attached screenshot) Is this normal? or is there a setting that I should change? Thanks for any advice. Ronnie West

Hello Peter, I re-created a quick menu page and, instead of using a text box for the 'Exit', I used a button. It worked OK with no exception report. I then tried it again, using a text box and had the same problem as before. I conclude that the 'Exit' must be a button and not text. Ron

Anthony, Keep your fingers crossed mate! AVG is still not working for me because I am getting the same problems, even after updating. It seems that AVG are not getting it sorted and it is probably time for me to ditch it and move over to Microsoft Security Essentials. What do you guys reckon? Ron.

Using Version 7.03 I am making a menu page and adding an 'Exit' button to the menu. In the Common Tab, I select the On Mouse Click option and choose 'Exit' When I preview the menu and click on the Exit text button, the screen flashes quickly and produces an exeption. see attached. Can anyone explain why please. Update 15th December 2011 I am using Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3

The Music Tab, now includes an option for recording sound bites, has anyone tried this option yet? I can't figure it out and would appreciate some guidance please. Ron

You two guys are probably the most provocative on the forum! Having said that, you are also two of the most active forum members. I always respect and take note of whatever you both have to say. Keep up the good work, this forum would be loser if you were to stop. As far as the video clip question goes, I agree with Dave, in as much as we all need more time to evaluate the whole question of adding video. Ron

We used to be able to select: 'Project > File List > Add all pictures to Slide List' Where has this option gone? The shortcut keys of 'Ctrl+D' still work though! Ron

I am thinking of buying an iPad2 and would be interested to know how you rate it, especially how it plays back a PTE slide show. Does the exe file have to be converted to HD (H264) before it can be played or will it play the exe file normally?

I am interested in buying an iPad2 and would like to hear from those of you who might already be using one. I know that it does not have the ability to play 'Flash Video' which is a major drawback but, is it able to play Pictures To Exe slide shows? The selling price, for a 32gig model is around the £600 mark, so is not a cheap investment. What do you think of this gadget, is it woth buying? Ron West

I agree entirely with what Peter has said, it is good news indeed! After the problems encountered with Vista and then Windows 7, it will be even better news if Windows 8 runs without the bugs and glitches. We can only hope! Ron

Hi Dave, Thanks for those suggestions. I will save them in my special folder for use later. I solved the problem now by re-setting the crop tool and it all seems to be back to normal now. Ron
