  2. Just as you define the External graphics editor, you can choose the external video editor and audio editor, both in version 12 and 11. I have it configured with Vegas for video and Audition for audio; you can choose Video Optimiser if you want.
  3. Igor, I understand the technical constraints regarding real-time performance and the complexity of two-pass stabilization. However, if these tools must remain external, the solution should be logical and integrated. Since PTE already allows us to define an external editor for images, why not do the same for video? A simple "Edit in Video Optimiser" command in the context menu would bridge the gap. Furthermore, from a commercial standpoint, you should offer PTE 12 and Video Optimiser as a single bundle. Honestly, from our side as users, even a slight price increase for a "two-in-one" package would be much better than dealing with fragmented workflows and waiting years for technical fixes. It would solve the problem for you and the workflow issues for us in one move. If PTE 12 wants to be a professional NLE in 2026, we need a seamless experience, even if it’s powered by two separate engines under the hood.. Thanks Ghulya
  4. Mark: Guess I am very poor at being Canadian. I've been to Prince Edward Island (where the story is set) several times. Been to Anne of Green Gables house but never attended the play at its home, nor any of the touring companies that have come to various cities where I've lived over the years. So thank you for attending the dress rehearsal on my behalf 🙄😊 Jim
  5. PTE Video Optimiser was designed as a standalone app, useful as a complement/addition to PTE AV Studio, and useful for a wide audience of users. Some features from PTE Video Optimiser already have been ported to PTE AV Studio 12. For example, video export in AV1 (WEBM) format and support for vertical video export. Video stabilization and noise reduction cannot be performed with highest quality in real time (they require significant CPU and GPU computations). Stabilization works in 2 passes for the best quality. These features can only be implemented for video export. An important feature of PTE AV Studio is that all our effects (except Motion Blur) work in real time and are available in a fullscreen preview, in the EXE shows, and in the video export. Stabilization is the most complex feature due to its 2 passes, which must be precisely timed. Integrating it into PTE AV Studio will be even more hard than in PTE Video Optimiser. Yes, I'd like to see stabilization/noise reduction functions in PTE AV Studio, but right now we're not ready to implement them. Sorry.
  6. As an old customer, I am still waiting for a clear answer. With the V12 release, why is the Video Optimiser still a separate, external utility? In 2026, this fragmented workflow is unacceptable. You claim PTE is now a full NLE, but forcing us to jump between two programs for stabilization and noise reduction is a step backward. The competition is integrated; we are still stuck with standalone tools. As a long-time supporter, I expect more than silence. Is a native integration planned for the V12 builds, or are you ignoring your core users? Thanks Ghulya

  8. I'm glad you like it. Thanks for commenting. There's no other option; the original is like this.
  9. Everything is fine, but the focus should not be visible with the aperture closed, focus first and then the shutter.

  11. Thanks for sharing these transitions. I really enjoyed the camera transitions.
  12. Hi Javier thanks for sharing this very efficient transition
  13. Hi, Thanks for sharing!
  14. Thanks, knew I must have been doing something incorrectly. Activated and will look at in more detail next time.
  15. Transitions Broken Glass with Sound V.12 Camera Transitions_V12 Hi everyone, these are transitions I've modified for the new version of PTE 12 with sound; I'm leaving a link in case you want to try them. https://javier-pteavstudio.blogspot.com/
  16. Hi Mark, You can use a free license key for V12 Beta. Please read my 1st message in the following topic: https://www.pteavstudio.com/forums/topic/52130-pte-av-studio-12-beta-3/
  17. Interested to hear how people are using the Beta version. Last night I tried to make an AV to test some new features. The finished show had a watermark (which is fine) but meant the show I was going to share was not practical. Needless to say no beta testing as such. I was able to edit the AV using a copy of V11 that I have so the editing was not lost. Just trying to understand the test workflow of all the people using the new features? Thanks Mark
  18. Welcome to the Ballina Players’ delightful production of Anne of Green Gables — a timeless story that has captured hearts for generations. Set in the picturesque community of Avonlea, this beloved tale follows the spirited and imaginative Anne Shirley as she finds a home, friendship, and a sense of belonging she’s always dreamed of. Under the direction of Jacquie McCalman, the Ballina Players bring Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic to life with warmth, humour, and a touch of old-fashioned charm. From heartfelt performances to beautiful staging, this production celebrates the power of imagination, resilience, and the magic of finding family in unexpected places. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a glimpse behind the scenes of the Understudy Dress Rehearsal of this wonderful community production of Anne of Green Gables.

  20. Igor, I have a small collection of sounds (1-3 seconds). If you're interested and CC0 rules allow, here's the download link: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1gg-c_MZuX7aMWOz2Q0S0D8z3HsO-Vuxg&export=download These sounds and many others can be found on the website: https://zvukogram.com/category/
  21. PTE 12: Why is Video Optimiser still a separate tool? With the release of PTE 12, it is time to address a critical issue regarding workflow efficiency. PTE AV Studio has evolved into a full-fledged NLE (Non-Linear Editor), yet we are still forced to use the Video Optimiser as a standalone external utility. In 2026, this fragmented approach is no longer acceptable for a professional. The technology for stabilisation, noise reduction, and frame interpolation is already yours. Keeping it locked in a separate tool creates an unnecessary mess for the user. We should not have to jump back and forth between two programs to prepare our clips before bringing them into the V12 timeline. The competition is moving much faster in terms of native integration. If PTE 12 wants to be taken seriously as a modern editor, these tools must be accessible with a single click directly from the File List or the O&A editor. Is there a technical reason why you are keeping this split environment, or can we expect a full, native integration in the upcoming V12 builds? Thanks Ghulya
  22. Thanks Dave. Have downloaded and will import to try out - your help is appreciated.
  23. Try this Style. After IMPORTING you will find it in USER STYLES. Details are in the Style. Joe Bloggs.ptestyle DG
  24. I reproduced this issue. Thanks.
  25. Perhaps the "Integrated Loudness (LUFS)" and "True Peak (dB)" values are set significantly different (or not) for the music compared to the sound effects? Just a thought.
  26. Thanks, Dave, will try this.
  27. Bruno, thanks for your suggestion.
  28. You can already add your own sound files to your projects - just use the "Add Sound" button (not Sound Library) and select your local audio files. We plan to expand our built-in sound library. However, we only include sounds under CC0 (Creative Commons Zero) license - meaning they must be in the public domain and free for everyone to use without restrictions.
