I'm quite happy with my home Epson TW2000 (1080UB in USA). FullHD 1920x1080, HDMI, LCD, very deep black color and flawless color reproduction, flicker-free picture.

We're trying write as possible more common code of PicturesToExe for both versions - Windows and Mac. It vastly simplifies work on the program and reduces appearing of possible bugs. The more complex program the more we have to think about optimization of its code. Two programs (Windows and Mac) without common code is a true disaster for development.

Argonaut, I just tried and didn't reproduce this problem. I set Pause action for Left and Right mouse buttons. And slideshow goes to pause mode when I click any mouse button. If you could reproduce this bug in short slideshow, please send me EXE file via www.mediafire.com service.

Argonaut, Thanks for details. I'm afraid I still can't reproduce this situation. If it will occur again, please try record a sequence of steps to call the problem at any time and send me together with test project.

Scorpion, Thank you, I've reproduced the problem. Will be fixed in nearest Release Candidate.AbdolReza, We can correct this minor bug only in the next version. Simple bug, but difficult to fix. Anyway it should not bother user.

Thanks, I've understood this problem. It came already in previous v5.5 The problem in logic of music system in the program. Your project has personal playlist of 4th slide and "Synchronize slides and music" option is turned off. All is OK for EXE file and video output. But to correctly show preview of this project in MiniPlayer we have to turn on "Synchronize slides and music" option in internal temp copy of project for MiniPlayer. And this option excludes capacity to work of personal playlists of slides. Regrettably there is no quick solution. We have to rework sound engine. It will possible in the next version only. In future version 5.6 we already plan improve sound engine and we also will fix this problem. It is in our plans.

Hi Igor, I accidentally deleted your post! Tired, was up all night - sorry.... Igor asked about Youtube supporting other HD aspect ratios and mentioned that it was necessary to add code to get HD in countries other than perhaps US. He noted that the 1600x1200 looked really good on Youtube. I accidentally edited the wrong post and erased his post. Got to get a couple hours of sleep and I know Igor does as well - LOL Hi Igor, The reason they recommend 1280x1024 is that they are a video site. They do support the higher resolution as you see - the 1600x1200 I submitted was converted by their Flash software and as you noticed is "very good." We can experiment by submitting alternate aspect ratios but it appears that they do indeed support other aspect ratios and just "recommend" 1280x720 because that's the current most popular size for video cameras, etc. Hopefully, they will soon change so other countries don't need to add the additional code. Perhaps an option to add this would be helpful for PTE? Then if they later support HD for all countries it will not be necessary but only a feature which will not be used. Best regards, Lin

In other words this issue doesn't related with Rectangle object at all, right? Just your video card can't handle Masks enough fast. You wondered how PicturesToExe works quickly with a large number of slides? It is because the program renders only one slide or two ones (during a transition effect) at any time.

Ralph, Yes, that's right. Although it possible create own style for Navigation bar, it's an unofficial feature for experienced users. PicturesToExe doesn't include a special tool for creating, editing and managing of user created styles for Navigation bar. Because of this now PicturesToExe doesn't import modified Navigation bar from previous version and store own copy of Navigation bar styles in own folder. Earlier there was a common folder with Navigation bar styles for all versions and it might cause problem due to possible future changes in next versions. But you can copy your style manually to new version. Present location of this folder: C:\Program Files\WnSoft PicturesToExe\5.6 Beta 20\All\NavBar Argonaut, - What you observed when you tried click "Objects and animation" button? Nothing happened? - Is it possible try repeat this problem? - Did it happen in previous version 5.5 or ealier? AbdolReza, 1. Please publish your computer configuration (CPU, system memory size, exact name of video card). 2. Does your PC work slowely with any projects or only particular (with Masks)? 3. Did you test previous version 5.5 for same problem? Please also make shorter the text in your signature. It's difficult to read posts in topic. Even the finest text can lose its internal force after many repetitions.

I plan rework this place in the program (export to MP4 video, Youtube, etc), and PicturesToExe will not ask save project at all. Because it will automatically create temporal copy of project for video export.

AbdolReza, I have downloaded your test project and see one slide with Rectangle and Mask container which both placed on same level - on the slide. Can't see any problem you've described. Task Manager shows that PicturesToExer utilizies about 36 MB of system memory when "Objects and animation" window is opened. Did you want to say if remove Rectangle object from this slide, it will work faster on your PC? If yes, try to replace Rectangle with another kind of object. For example, small image (100x100 pixels). Will it give same problem or not? I agree with posts above, Masks requires faster video card. If you have old 64 MB video card it can be reason of more slow work of PicturesToExe.

Thanks for your responses. According most of opinions we will remove direct support of MIDI in the future version 5.7 and will add a converter from MIDI to MP3.

Microsoft has started public beta testing of Windows 7 today. We've tried it. The installation took about 20 minutes and it seems that everything works fine. My first impression that Windows 7 operates even faster than Windows XP in many cases, let alone Vista. Many people on forums publish similar reports. I didn't find problems with PicturesToExe 5.6 Beta nor with slideshows, excluding one problem with displaying of non-English user interface in the main window of PicturesToExe. Probably it's my fault with new or modified regional settings of operation system. PicturesToExe starts in two times faster under Windows 7 than with XP. Windows 7 even in Beta version defenitely works MUCH faster than Windows Vista SP1. Various intersting features such as new Superbar instead of Taskbar.

Main menu | View | Advanced options | "Show real slide in MiniPlayer" should be turned on.

AbdolReza, Why you thought it was PicturesToExe or another WnSoft's product? Did you really see text "wnsft photo Remover"? If it really happened on your PC, I don't believe that it somehow related with PicturesToExe, because I'm author of this program and there is NO "wnsft photo removeres" in PicturesToExe and of course NO viruses. The only possible way to delete images in PicturesToExe: manual selection of images in File list then calling popup menu, choosing "Explorer" and then "Delete". Even if you did it all quite accidentally your images can be easily recovered from Recycle Bin.
