In Windows Vista this option "Show transition effect to desktop after slide" in fact doesn't work. Slide show will play as without this option. Also even under Windows XP with hardware acceleration used in v5.00 this option could work with short flashing. Because of this we didn't included it to v5.00

We will try to optimize work of two hardware accelerated slide shows simultaneously. Please wait for beta 12.

Howard, Ron, Just choose a slide, click "Objects and animation" button and press Delete button - it will delete main image and slide will be blank.

Yes, PTE doesn't support MP3 Pro and may play it with not maximal quality, because MP3 Pro format created with back partial compatibility with old MP3 players. But in this case it's another problem. Problem with synchronization happens because some sound card play music a little faster or a little slowely (on 3 seconds faster every 5 minutes of playback). It's a reason of this problem. We'll try to find some solution.

By the way, fully rewritten slide show engine (EXE) of v5.00 - 275 KB (instead of 254 KB of v4.48) Only on 20 KB larger. All included to 275 KB - built-in support of JPEG, built-in MP3 player, built-in PNG, GIF, two graphical engines (Direct 3D and CPU based engines). Also Aleksey and Pavel created compact and small libraries of code - result of several year's work.

Alain, 1) - Template is not an usual project. So if you want you can adjust global folder where all templates will be stored. - Also of course PTE asks you save the project, because you save template, but didn't saved project - it's different projects now. 2 and 3) It's necessary to update modified template via Ctrl+T. It will suggest existing name of this template and ask to replace old template. Click Yes, and template will be updated.

Markus, Richard, Did you set checked "Synchronize music and slide" option in Main tab of Project options?

This option can be useful when you have a button and action to run some another EXE application. Slide show will wait when you come back again.

I just found this bug with repeating of music if "Stop after show" option choosed. Will fix in next beta. Set "Synchronize music and slides" option and Preview of a slide will work as you want - music will start from this slide.
