Jeff, It will possible in beta 10 or beta 11. Excuse us, that we missed this moment. Lin, We'll correct slide numeration from 1 for "Got to slide ..." function (instead of 0 in beta 10) v5.00 is very complex product. I work every day with my large todo list and add/remove groups of ten of records: check up feature, fix bug, add new feature, write email, think how improve some feature, etc. Sometimes I can miss some moment, sorry. Because of this I so appreciate help of members of this forum.

Beta version of PicturesToExe doesn't register .pte extension for PicturesToExe. You can register .pte extension manually. Using Window Explore, right click on .pte file, Open As/Open with help and choose PTE.

Thank you, I added your suggestion to TODO list. I hope it will be possible, or maybe not, because you see that we wrote own file tree to speed up work of this control.

After reading this topic we can suggest two features which can be implemented in the nearest beta of v5.00 1) "Stop at the end of a slide" option in slide properties window. In this case you can easily realize menu or waiting until user press Next slide key or button. This option will work only when "Synchronize slides and music" option disabled. 2) "Repeat slide" option in slide properties window. As above option, it is same thing, but animation of slide will repeat from beginning of a slide. It maybe useful for organizing animated menu (e.g. slide 1) and main slides of a slide show (e.g. 2nd and next slides).

John, In such cases (non-linear Panning) please use only Bicubic (not Bicubic Sharper) resizing and don't apply Unsharp mask. Maybe it's necessary even apply slight Blur filter.

Since v5.00 and new registration keys we discard this limitation. New Standard and Deluxe licenses for v5.00 can be used for any purpose for one person or one PC.

Since v5.00 Beta 9 we use DirectSound technology instead of WaveOut earlier in music player. Probably it works more reliable in some situations.

With help of Lin Evans, we found today that some antiviruses remove last double quote from reg. key file. It's a reason why key arrives damaged! We'll try to analyze key file and recover it.

volker, Thanks, both moments will be realized in beta 11 bjc, I'm grateful for your response! I think that we realized two variants. Quick presets - for beginners. And fine adjusting with own speed parameters for profi. Every user will choose his favourite way. We're discussed two years non-linear speeds and interface of this window and it's the best solution we found. And we would not limit professionals and provide them all necessary tools. I almost didn't work on speed paramters. My colleague Sergey wrote this code for me.

We already wrote main code for adding of MPEG2 files to VideoBuilder, but we don't have enough time for testing it right now, it may delay release of v5.00. So it will be activated in the next version 5.1

What version of PicturesToExe you currently use? I think the problem in incorrect device choosed as primary device for sound output. Please check settings in Control Panel -> Sound and audio devices -> Audio tab. Try latest v5.00 beta 10: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (4 MB)

I've updated my PteShow demo slide show and included Navigation bar. All text labels created in PicturesToExe using text objects in Objects and Animation editor. This image stays over all slides and especially semi-transparent PNG gives excellent effect.

Richard, We'll try to solve with problem with fast slides in beta 11. It is only a logical problem.

Al, We solved that problem with synchronization of second music track. Please try and let me know. Lin, We also found solution for the problem when sound card returned wrong time values. Now no problem with smoothness, I hope.
