  1. One image in a 16:9 Project: Visualising Modifiers 2.ptestyle DG
  2. Do the Cropping in PTE? Drag your Video into the Slide List and resize it (in Objects and Animation) to fit the 4:3 Aspect Ratio of your show using the corner "grab handles". When you Convert it, leave the resolution at 1920x1080. You are going to lose a bit either side but that is inevitable unless you are prepared to compress the 16:9 AR down to 4:3. BTW I have just tried this in Version 8 - I think that it should work in Version 7.5. If not, you REALLY need to upgrade to Version 8. There is a great offer on at the moment - look into it. BTW (2) the default 4:3 screen resolution is 1024x768 in Version 7.5 - have you changed this to 1400x1050?
  3. 16x9 Project. 3x2 Image. Window with Border in Mask.ptestyle DG
  4. Custom Transition with Z: Jumping Modifier Sliding Away 3.pteeff I suggest a Transition Time of around 7 seconds. Demo: See later post Add 2 16x9 Images to Slide List in a NEW 16:9 PROJECT and Apply this Style. Set to Repeat Show.
  5. Have a Merry Christmas and a peaceful, prosperous New Year! DG
  6. Please note that you will need an up-to-date good graphics card to run the Universal Window Style with a dissolving, blurred background in a Custom Transition. It is a very high loading on the system. I assumed, because no one has mentioned it, that all was well and that you all have high powered cards. It runs OK on the Laptop on which I constructed it but is "jerky" on my desktop PC with older, less powerful, card. Please change the CT to something which works for you, if you get this problem. Also using a Blurred BG made in Photoshop etc will cure most problems on a PC with an older, slower card. DG
  7. The Zip Folder contains three Styles and a Demo Style. The Styles produce a Triptych which is either Static or Animated Horizontally/Vertically. The Project Aspect Ratio selection is automatic. Use 3x2 Image(s) in 3x2 Aspect Ratio Project; 16x9 Image(s) in 16x9 Aspect Ratio Project etc. (No 5x4). The Demo Style is single Aspect Ratio only (16x9) and needs two 16x9 Images.
  8. Basically, in 2013 Igor said that: The reason of this behaviour of PicturesToExe in a fact that style may include a group of slides. Example of such style - are templates ...............So if you select slides 1, 3, 5, 6, PicturesToExe will change their order to unite them into one group. Nothing has changed, as far as I know. DG
  9. Nice to see that you have re-installed V9 Beta. DG

  11. Try this: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/project-options/control_tab DG
  12. Yes, that would help. DG
  13. I can only suggest that you upload one of these images here. One of us can then try it to see if we get the same effect? DG
  14. Presumably, you are converting to grayscale in Photoshop or similar? After removing the colour you can change the mode back to RGB and save the b&w image as a normal sRGB image. Try that. I though that grayscale images were ok. DG
  15. Universal Window Style 2 is an updated version which addresses the problem of inconsistent Border Thicknesses. Universal Window Style 2.ptestyle Demo of this Style: Universal Window Demo.zip DG
  16. Start new project with just a couple of different images and try again. Will it create exe now? DG
  17. Hi Jeff, Yes, there is a bit more mileage left in that style yet But before you start playing around with it make sure that you have the original saved as the Exported Style. Copy and Paste / Rename, and work on the Copy/copies. DG P.S. Not everyone likes the Zoom on every slide - it can be turned off.
  18. To change the thickness of the "Border": Change the values of all 5 boxes (in PIXELS MODE) to whatever you require. Image Crop and Border. DG
  19. Any Image Aspect Ratio in any Project Aspect Ratio. The Style puts a Stroke Line/Border/Frame around the Main Image. The Main Image can be Zoomed within the Stroke Line/Border/Frame using the Framing Control. The Colour and thickness of the Stroke Line/Border/Frame can be changed and saved by the User. The whole Window can be zoomed to any percentage required using the Frame. (75% to 100% suggested). A Blurred copy of the Main Image is used as a Background (using the new Splitter Function) for use with Custom Transitions with "Use Background from Slide" and "Transparent Background of Slides" enabled. Universal Window Style 2.ptestyle DG P.S. Version 9 only. Universal Window Style 2 is an updated version which addresses the problem of inconsistent Border Thicknesses. 20. Roel, I had to remind myself that this subject has cropped up before and one way around this would be for you (as a Deluxe user) to create a Style and pass it on to anyone with essentials to Apply. Insert a Text Template in O&A and choose Slide Name. Position and Size the Text Template and Save as a Style. Essentials users can Import the Style and Apply it to all Images and even re-position the Text. Hope that helps. Slide Name Caption.ptestyle DG
  21. File size limits here are just over 3Mb and at Slideshowclub around 180Mb.
  22. Strips Horizontal and Vertical - FINAL. I have added Smooth Speed of Animation to both. 16x9 and 3x2 versions in Both. See next post.
  23. P.S. Barry is right - I see these Styles as "building blocks" for further experimentation. Here is the FULL Style for the Strips DEMO in the first post. You can change the BG to something of your own after applying the Style to two 16x9 Images. Strips 16x9x2.ptestyle DG P.S. You can apply this Style to Multiple Slides as follows: Add 4 images to the Slide List in the order 1,2,2,3. Highlight all and apply the Style. You should now have 6 slides - delete slide 4. Set "Repeat Show" and play in Preview.
