  5. Hi Bob, If you are not able to do as Peter suggests above, then you should be able to play your dvd on your pc and then use the Audacity sound editor to record your sound files from the dvd and then save them. Hope this is helpful. Kind regards paul.
  6. Sorry to hear about your ankle, hope it doesn't keep you out of action for too long. Get well soon Best wishes. paul
  7. Hi Mike I don't know if this the sort of thing you are looking for, 'BTDigital Vault.' Kind regards Paul
  8. Hi Neil, Don't know if this is of any use to you but have a look at Bt Digital Vault, if you use their broadband package you get 5gb free storage space, non Bt customers get 1Gb free storage space. When you upload your shows you can then set access to public and then post a link. I have tried it before and it worked ok for me. Hope this helps. Kind regards Paul
  9. Hello Barry I meant to mention this earlier but I forgot, now having watched your show again it has reminded me. When viewing your show on a 1440 x 900 screen I sometimes see behind your grey frame the main picture showing in about a 1 or 2 px band on the right and left hand side of the frame, this occurs 99% of the time when the picture is panned or zoomed, I don't notice it when the pictures are free from animation. I don't know if this is just something peculiar to me, but I thought you might like to know. Any thoughts on this at all? I enjoyed the show by the way. Kind regards Paul
  10. Hi JEB I think you scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'free' in the 'select your download' at the bottom of the right hand column and then follow the instructions on the next page. Hope this helps Paul
  11. Hi I run Avg anti virus and on scanning an external hard drive tonight, it found that 2no exe's 'Lakeside and Orchids' were inffected with a 'Trojan'. Ken you say you had 3gb of exe's trashed, does that mean to say when an exe is picked out to be infected by Avg that the exe is gone for good and that it cannot be recovered? Many thanks Kind regards Paul

  15. Hi Jeff thanks for your kind comments, strangely enough the two areas you mentioned (music and ending) were the two things that I wasn't entirely sure about either. I guess I'll just have to keep practising Many thanks Kind regards Paul
  16. hi Jeff just watched your show and i found it to be very interesting and informative. the animation I felt added something to the show. well done. On a practical note, in the opening sequence looking through the circle in the black mask, this mask doesn't cover the whole of the slide underneath, ican see a very small part of the slide underneath at the beginning it is on the right, and then it changes to the left, I don't know if this is just on my system. thanks for sharing your show. kind regards paul
  17. Hi Well here goes. this is my first time at airing one of my shows in public as it were, so you will be gentle with me won't you? 19. Hi I would like to post a link here, to a show I would like you to look at, but I'm not sure how to do it. If I put it in a word document, I 'copy' the link and then 'paste' it and the link is then active in the document. Is that the same for posting the link here? Many thanks Kind regards Paul

  21. Hi Ron This was an option when you chose photoshop as the programme to open your jpegs. but I think this option was greyed out anyway, so it probably defaults to this setting. Glad it worked for you. Kind regards paul
  22. Hi Ron I have just tried this and it seems to work. Right click on a jpeg (any jpeg), choose properties at the bottom of the menu, in section 'Opens with' select 'Change' choose Adobe photoshop, make sure 'always use the selected program to open this kind of file' is ticked, click 'ok' then 'apply' now 'ctrlw' should open the slide in photoshop.(And clicking on any jpeg will now open it in photoshop too) Hope this is clear Kind regards Paul
  23. Hi Ron sorry I haven't replied sooner. To answer your question I have never used the 'Templates' option before, basically because I had no idea what it was for and I had never taken the time to find out. When I have created shows in the past,I have kept all my images, music files, project and created exe all in the same folder and then when I had finished I backed this folder up to a drive other than my main system drive. However, now you have asked this question I have had a quick look at the 'templates' and Back up to zip option' and of the two I would probably use the'Back up to zip' option, in either case though, I would always choose to back up to a disk other than my system drive. Kind regards paul
