I use Gmail, and spam rarely gets through, also all my mail is stored on their severs. (Years worth of it) I also use HotMail, with my mail stored on their severs. I did receive the Wnsoft spam, but Gmail thought it was OK, since I had never tagged any from Wnsoft.

(Solved) Sound problem when publishing in mp4 (and AVI)
smithrg replied to Ellen's topic in Troubleshooting
Hi Ellen, you are going to have your slideshow viewers poking their eyes out. 77 min. (IMHO) is waaaay too long for a show you are showing to friends and neighbors. For the music, Project Options > Audio > Add audio file add as many of the file to make 77 min. At the start and end of each file, add fade in/fade out, at the last file lower the duration until the time at the top of audio area shows your 77 min. This is how I do it, and I'm sure someone else has a better way, but maybe this will help until someone shows up. I hope this helps, and is not confusing, smithrg. -
Andrew, well done, Robert.

Hi Craig, the example is not mine, it was made by another forum member(I don't remember who). I just happen to have saved it and thought it might be of help. Best regards, smithrg

This is an example that was shared some years back, maybe it will give you an idea which way to go. Hope it helps, smithrg http://www.mediafire.com/file/fy4cfedbmmm/Family_Tree.zip

I do try to make DVDs sometime but I keep running into problems with the outcome. The show either has black spaces at the sides, or at the top and bottom. I try using Dave's and others instructions, and I would burn more if the outcome was better. I now usually just make an MP4, for Facebook and to send to friends. All the best, smithrg

Thanks Lin, that is true, but sadly, there is a 5 month old child involved now. There is just no commitment from younger folks anymore. We cannot live their lives for them, only hope that things work out for the best. Best regards, Robert
