  1. Hi Ellen, I apologize if I offended you, that was not my intent, I was just giving my opinion. Best regards, smithrg
  2. Hi Ellen, you are going to have your slideshow viewers poking their eyes out. 77 min. (IMHO) is waaaay too long for a show you are showing to friends and neighbors. For the music, Project Options > Audio > Add audio file add as many of the file to make 77 min. At the start and end of each file, add fade in/fade out, at the last file lower the duration until the time at the top of audio area shows your 77 min. This is how I do it, and I'm sure someone else has a better way, but maybe this will help until someone shows up. I hope this helps, and is not confusing, smithrg.
  3. Andrew, well done, Robert.
  4. Thank you, Lin, I am going to redo a 14 year old show with your style. Thanks for all your work/talent, smithrg.
  5. Dave, thank you.
  6. Hi Craig, the example is not mine, it was made by another forum member(I don't remember who). I just happen to have saved it and thought it might be of help. Best regards, smithrg
  7. This is an example that was shared some years back, maybe it will give you an idea which way to go. Hope it helps, smithrg http://www.mediafire.com/file/fy4cfedbmmm/Family_Tree.zip
  8. I do try to make DVDs sometime but I keep running into problems with the outcome. The show either has black spaces at the sides, or at the top and bottom. I try using Dave's and others instructions, and I would burn more if the outcome was better. I now usually just make an MP4, for Facebook and to send to friends. All the best, smithrg
  9. Merry Christmas\Happy Holidays everyone, may the new year be healthy and prosperous. Robert

  14. Thanks Lin, that is true, but sadly, there is a 5 month old child involved now. There is just no commitment from younger folks anymore. We cannot live their lives for them, only hope that things work out for the best. Best regards, Robert
  15. I made this show three years ago of my granddaughters wedding, sadly they just filed for divorce, but the show lives on. Best regards, Robert
  16. Mike, excellent show and fantastic photography. Thanks for sharing your excellent work, Robert.
  17. I still don't have a clue where my accidentally archived email went. Thanks to all who tried to help, I will close this as solved, thanks again, Robert

  19. Hi Bert, thank you for the answer to what it is, but, where is the archive? I can't find where it went. Thanks again, Robert
  20. Hi PTE friends, if you use an iPad, and can tell me what this icon does, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Robert
  21. Great job, Lin, as usual. Thanks for sharing, Robert
  22. Sorry everyone, the show while streaming live was horrible, so I deleted the link. Best regards, Robert
  23. Hi everyone, I reworked the Slideshow, and uploaded to Dropbox (Thanks Judy) with new music. The show will now stream......!!! Thanks to everyone for taking time to comment, and suggest changes. Thanks again for watching, Robert.
  24. Hello Judy, thank you for watching my show, and your kind words. All the best, Robert
  25. Hi Eric, yes I was afraid about the same music going for over 10 minutes, but I wanted to use the show on Facebook and YouTube, and they have shut me down before, when using "unauthorized copyright". You can tell I don't know how to do anything more than just a simple show. Thank you for for the great advice. I don't know why my paid MediaFire account doesn't stream anymore, I'll look into that. Thanks again for taking the time to critique the show, best regards, Robert.
