Hello Ray Hope you a good trip. I will try and do a brief tutorial, it is straight forward, just the matter of setting some Keyframes after the 3500 Keyframe Time in O&A and making sure that your final Keyframe settings return to normal, this is to make sure you are setup for the next slide.

Hello Silva Thank you for downloading the two templates and that you find them interesting. Regarding the 'Notice Board', I am not sure if I understand your first point about the slowness of the Preview, I set the duration of each slide at 10.5 secs, you can reduce this if you wish. I had overlooked the problem with some TV's and the safe zone, you can overcome this by going to O&A and adjusting the 'Notice Board' father level 'Zoom' setting to 82%.

Bill I am about to send you, via YOUSENDIT, a Flash video tutorial on adding additional images to TheDom's Photo Album Template. Hopefully this will help you through your problem.
-
Bill I have sent you a copy of Ronnie West's tutorial, look at section 7, also some Print Scrn images of how to do it.
-
Bill Not sure if Ronnie West has covered this in his Tutorial for the Photo Album, you can find it at his website: http://www.ronniewestdigital.co.uk/ if not this is what I do. I copy and paste the images. Let say you want to add an extra 5 pictures, you will first need to add the new pictures to the other 30 pictures by creating pic31, pic32, pic33, pic34 and pic35. Now along the bottom of the screen, copy pic30 and paste it one place to the right. Then highlight the new picture and open O&A, in the right hand side part of the screen select what is called pic30, select the Common Tab and change the name to pic31. Select the Properties Tab and open the folder icon and select pic31 and open the file. Close O&A and you should find that pic31 will be listed along the bottom of the screen. If pic31 is not shown it maybe that you will need to go back into O&A and select pic31 as the main image.

Dom I will give it ago, not sure that I can do the shadow effect, but I like the idea.
-
Lin Thanks for posting the link on your website, MediaFire is also up and running again.
-
Dom I think that Tracy is looking to have a single background image displayed behind the Photo Album.
-
Photo 2020 I agree with your view, it would be nice to have a Presenter like Photodex ProShow. Not sure if this is possible or whether we would sacrifice too much in the way of quality.
-
Dom Yes, I think that I can change the width if that is OK with you. Like Ron, I am not crazy about the sound of the page turning, however, not sure if you will hear it if you have a backing soundtrack.

Hello Dom It seems that MediaFire servers are down. The Twenty Puzzle that David Fitzpatrick produced is a slide puzzle, it it not a jigsaw puzzle like the one produced by Lin, a little similar to JPD's but you start with 19 pieces and a space, then each piece moves around the table until they are all in place, then the 20th piece flies in and you have your completed image. You must have had one when you were a little boy in France.

Is anyone familiar with the Twenty Puzzle effect created by David Fitzpatrick for the Photodex ProShow platform. Well David has given me permission to transfer the effect to the PicturesToExe platform. If there is any interest I would be happy to make the Template and Tutorial available to other PTE users. Below is a link to MediaFire. http://www.mediafire.com/?3ntzfmkm1qd

Dom Thanks, not sure if you picked up on my comments on your website. I like the new template very much indeed, other than the cover_leftside, I preferred it when you had it at 62 px width, this seems to me a little narrow.
-
Thanks Dom, what a great job, your version is much better than mine. Quality always shows through.
-
Ron Here is an improved version. http://www.thedom.fr/share/dload.php?actio...amp;file_id=252
-
Ron I will just play around with it a little longer, see if I can improve it, then I will release a template.
-
Hello Lin Thanks for your comments and suggestions, it seems a little painful, but I will give it ago. I have changed slide 15, looks a lot better now, thanks. I did try to add some drawing pins, but could not get them to stay stationary whilst zooming the photographs.
-
Hi Ron I uploaded the file and I thought that was all that was necessary, clearly it is not. How do you provide an attachment? I have now uploaded it to MediaFire, below is the link. http://www.thedom.fr/share/dload.php?actio...amp;file_id=252

Hi How does this effect look to you, I have tried to reproduce a notice board on to which I have placed photographs. I can see there are some short comings with the transition from one slide to the other. Any suggestions to overcome the problem and improve the effect. http://www.thedom.fr/share/dload.php?actio...amp;file_id=252

Hi TracyH Not sure that I fully understand the question, when you say 'make the background image blank', do you mean that you don't want to show the background or that you want a black background. If it is the former you can reduce the Opacity to zero, if the latter, you can always use a blackside.jpg image.
-
It can happen, I have just done that very thing. What a silly billy.
-
Hello Peter I did one better than me, I cannot even download the software.
-
I am not sure about the function - Support of all kinds of AVI files imported to a project (including AVS video file scripts). What does this mean, does it mean that you can import a video AVI file? Also if the Menu set time, times out, what happens, does the slideshow play?
-
Good Afternoon Peter I have had a similar experience with WinZip and that is why I asked the open question, 'Has anyone used or considered WINRK 3.0.3 Executable Compression Software'. It claims an significant reduction of the size of exe files.
-
Ken, Peter and Gareth Thanks for your advise, it seems that if I don't want to sacrifice quality then use a resolution not less than 800 x 600 and possibly zip the file. If I can accept a lower quality then use images with a lower resolution. I will give this a go and see if I can reach a reasonable solution.
