If you have a bunch of objects floating around the screen, each with various rotations/zooms/movements, etc., and you are trying to fine tune each one of those separately it would be nice to have a simple button to turn off the visibility of all of the other objects to eliminate the distraction. There is a workaround in current version: in the Properties tab untick an option "Show front side" (and "Show back side", if necessary) for a selected object. In future version 11.0 we also added a new option: Nested opacity. With this option it's possible to hide a group of child objects by setting Opacity to zero for a parent object.
