  1. Hi Igor Thank you for that. It sounds like it could be very useful. Regards wideangle
  2. Hi Rosy Click on your Messages icon at the top of the screen. Now click on Go to Inbox at the bottom of the list. Use the tickbox to select the offending message (without opening it) Click on the Delete icon. Problem solved hopefully. Regards wideangle
  3. Hi Darryll You may be checking out several different slides with unique names, but do any of those names contain unusual characters or symbols that PT AV maybe doesn't like? Regards wideangle
  4. Hi Lin It’s great to hear from you again! It goes without saying that we all look forward to seeing you back in action again, and sharing your PT AV wisdom with everybody. Take care, Regards wideangle
  5. Jill An obvious solution! I hadn’t thought of that straightforward solution probably because I’m the opposite to you and always connect the sd card rather than the camera or other device. That’s probably because my desktop, my laptop, and my printer all have integrated card readers. Regards wideangle
  6. jt49 That would be ok for the USB connection but he would still need something to deal with his camera memory cards. Regards wideangle
  7. JJB45 If you google ‘usb extension for card reader’ there are lots of devices around which would solve the problem of inaccessible slots on an AIO. Regards wideangle
  8. Lacogada Thanks for that - always useful. Regards wideangle
  9. Denisb I was looking for a vertical bounce which decreases and then stops, but I want it to look like the natural bounce of a ball in speed. Dave That's exactly what I'd tried to do. I added more KF closer together and got a bouncing effect which decreased then stopped, but it just looked wrong. I couldn't manage to produce the natural movement of a bouncing ball. I couldn't figure out sensible heights and speeds of the sequence of bounces. After several attempts I gave up - I'm off outside now to play with a ball! Regards wideangle
  10. Thanks dave. That's the sort of thing. I was just trying to add more smaller and faster bounces at the end, but couldn't seem to get a natural looking result with the timing.. Regards wideangle
  11. Hi I need an image to drop down from the top of the screen to the bottom, and have a bouncing effect just like a ball, before it comes to rest. It can be a transition or a style. My attempts so far have not looked very smooth or natural like a ball, and one I found offered previously seemed to have a similar problem. Any offering will be gratefully received if you fancy a little project. Many thanks. Regards wideangle
  12. Many thanks once again, vbl2007. This is another set of very useful effects that you have generously offered to share. Regards wideangle
  13. Macian Could it relate to a different font being used if the original was not installed on your machine? Just guessing. Regards wideangle
  14. As I understand it, when you play the sort of games (which I don’t) that require a lot of processing power, game booster makes sure that the game speed is not hindered by other programs running on your computer. If you don’t play those sort of games then you could disable game booster. That’s what I have done on mine. Regards wideangle.
  15. Hi Rosy If you double click your Bullguard icon on your desktop, the Bullguard control panel should appear, showing all the modules available. One of those is the Game Booster and you will see the option to disable it. It’s worth taking note of all the other modules which are in that control panel if you need to adjust any other settings in future. Regards wideangle
  16. It seems very clear from the discussions that the buying process for some can be unclear! Rather than prolonging this discussion by trying to justify the current procedure, wouldn’t a simple bit of editing on the billing page, on the lines suggested by Gary, resolve the lack of clarity. Regards wideangle
  17. Hi vbl2007 Many thanks for these. There are some very good effects. Regards wideangle
  18. These three programs were first flagged up on the forum about three years ago and I bought them then. For anyone looking for non-subscription software for photo manipulation, design and illustration purposes, and can afford the very sensible prices, I think they might be a serious consideration. Regards wideangle
  19. This issue was flagged up a long, long time ago, and had some discussion, but was never addressed, presumably because of other priorities. Hopefully, it may be resolved, as it certainly is a hindrance. Regards wideangle
  20. Paul Apologies for asking, but what is Ae? Good effect, by the way!
  21. Paul Another great and impressive piece of work from you. Well done! I can't even begin to think how you did that, but is it something that can be turned into a Style, or is it much too complicated? Regards wideangle
  22. Surely this is a no-brainer, or am I missing something here? It's not rocket science to say that the aspect ratio of a show is logically going to be dictated and guided by the device on which it is going to be viewed, rather than the device which produced the original images. Creating a show in anything other than 16x9 seems to be a backward step to me. (Just my opinion!) Regards wideangle
  23. Hi Rosemary I’ve just tracked down a conversation we had many moons ago about using Backup in Zip (see below) [Posted January 8 Hi Rosemary The Backup in Zip is extremely useful generally. I do a Backup in Zip for every project I create. It is a very quick way to create a security backup of your work, as, in one click, it collects together copies of all the files you have used in that project, and zips them together. It’s also handy for transferring a project from, say, a desktop to a laptop. Regards wideangle] Obviously it’s slipped your mind!! I would get into the habit of using it at the end of every project you complete, as a way of getting an immediate backup of all the files in one place. Not only are you collecting your pictures together, but you are pulling in all other used files eg audio etc. Regards wideangle
  24. Another great effect, Paul. Thank you. You continue to keep my grandchildren amused. Regards wideangle
  25. Hi TheDom I've just been trying this - very impressive! However, I seem to be seeing a couple of little hiccups. First, should there be another font to install (for the ink droplets)? Secondly, I tried to create a simple headline which seemed to be OK. When I previewed it, the writing began to appear, but parts of the letters had small gaps in them to start with. I'm not sure what's happening there at the moment - using PT AV Studio Pro 10.0.14. Regards wideangle
