  1. Rosemary Just click on the link that Paul has inserted above the video. Paul A great effect. Many thanks for your generosity - much appreciated. Regards wideangle
  2. Aleina Yes I agree with what you say but the limitation of using a style however is that after applying your main style to your slides you may then wish to tweak some of them by applying another style. As you know, you cannot apply one style on top of another because the second style removes the first one. Regards wideangle
  3. My idea of a template has always been a bit different from the way they are used in PT AV. In PT AV, if you want to do what nickp3 wants, where you would like to replace a set of files (photos) with a different set, then you could adopt Barry’s approach which involves doing work outside PT AV, or you could load the ‘template’ then go into Objects and Animation and replace each file individually (a slow process for 40 images). Other programs use templates with empty placeholders for the images. Rather than storing the original images, the template has empty positions where you can just drag new images in each time you use the template. You could also drag another image over the top if you didn’t like your first choice, and it would be replaced. I suspect that this is what nickp3 has in mind. To me, a template should be a skeleton framework ready to build a new creation, not a structure which holds a full set of images. PT AV uses templates more to create a backup of a project, which is not really necessary because that can be done with the ‘Backup in zip’ feature. Regards wideangle
  4. Hi Sanpier Once you understand the use of keyframes, it becomes easy. 3 lines of text.zip Regards wideangle
  5. Dom Very realistic and a great piece of work. Well done! Regards wideangle
  6. In 10.0.10 Build 8 and 10.0.11 Build 6 with Windows 10, the transitions behave correctly for me. They play for the displayed duration, and if you increase or decrease the duration, the transition slows down or speeds up accordingly. Regards wideangle
  7. It may help to have a tutorial on the limited amount that can and can’t be done with video editing in PT AV at the moment, just for those people to get started. Are there any tutorials at the moment? Regards wideangle
  8. Orizaba I sometimes see the ‘not responding’ message when using other programs apart from PT AV, and, like you they go on to complete correctly, so could it be a Windows issue. If you are saving as an insurance against a computer crash, you could also use the alternative ‘Create Backup in Zip’. Regards wideangle
  9. Thanks once again Aleina, for sharing. Regards wideangle
  10. Aleina I fully understand what you are saying, especially if animation is your passion. Keep up the good work! Regards wideangle
  11. Ronnie See above where the video is. Dom has given you the link to his website where you can download it. Regards wideangle
  12. Hi Aleina This is another presentation from you where you have put a lot of excellent work into it, particularly with your animations. The decision for you is how much focus you want to put on the animations, compared to the actual photos. Like JRR, I found myself looking more at all the animations and missing the photo details sometimes. Whether you want larger photos and fewer animations is, I guess, a personal choice. Having said that, it is still very impressive. Thanks Aleina. Regards wideangle
  13. Dom For me, the details that you have tweaked have made a difference, and I think the results are a good step forward. I really like the sliding effect as the photographs land on the surface - it is very realistic. Congratulations. Regards wideangle
  14. Maybe slow things down a little and introduce a slight pause on an image? Just my opinion, but a great effect, as ever, Dom. Regards wideangle
  15. Alice Just try it and see what happens - a good way to learn! Regards wideangle
  16. Paul Thanks for another great effect. Regards wideangle
  17. Dom I was about to say that I thought that the pace on the original was a bit too fast for reading, but you have already beaten me to it, and have already slowed it down a bit. A great effect! Regards wideangle
  18. Can you clarify what you mean by the beginning sound track and the correct sound track in this scenario? Regards wideangle
  19. Igor Thanks for the speedy response, as usual, for listening, and reacting to what users are requesting. Regards wideangle
  20. Are you able to tell us which style you were installing from the forum? Regards wideangle
  21. I think I agree. I started to focus on that for a while and it became a bit of a distraction. Apart from that - excellent. Regards wideangle
  22. Hi Bill I assume you've imported the style, so in your project you select TWO adjacent slides and just apply the style. (You don't need to go into O&A to do anything. Just apply the style to two slides.) The first slide picture appears on the disc and the second slide picture appears on the album cover. Regards wideangle
  23. Hi dom The effect looks so effective and smooth on the Vimeo clip. I bought some of your templates in the early days, and thought that they were very good at the time, but when you compare the early version of the photo album with what you have got here, the improvement is tremendous. It’s the attention to detail which makes all the difference, like the realistic shadows and the curved pages, for example. It’s also a good indication of how the tools in PT AV Studio have developed in that time. All credit to both you, and Igor and the team. Regards wideangle
  24. Bob What you did with the online User Guide in searching for modifiers was exactly what I was meaning. Glad you found something to help you. Having said that, when you have a few hours to spare, the User Guide is a good read!! Regards wideangle
  25. Bob They are in the Objects and Animation editor where it says ‘Add modifier’. You may find it useful to have a read of the online User Guide for PT AV Studio 10 which gives you more detail. (Always a good place to start!) Barry Beckham also has useful video information as well. Regards wideangle
