[PTE AV Studio has stopped working]

Hi,

Try to reset settings of PTE AV Studio 11 on your Mac.

1. Make sure that PTE AV Studio is not launched in the Dock.

2. Download the following special uninstaller and run it.

3. Tick an option 'Reset PTE AV Studio configuration'. Confirm the uninstallation.

4. Run PTE AV Studio again.

Thanks for uploading the project.

In this EXE show there is only 1 slide with 1 video clip (MP4 1920 x 1080, 60p). 

EXE format is best suited for animation of images and text captions. You add images to a project, adjust animation, and produce an EXE file.

If you chosen a MP4 video output for your project, there is no need to wrap a created video clip into an EXE show.

Of course, EXE format can include video clips. A complex show may include animated images and video clips. Usually video clips in MP4 format at 1920x1080 60p and included to an EXE show play smooth on modern computers (5-10 years old). Your EXE show plays very smooth on my desktop PC.

You can write a configuration of your computer where you observe the problem with smootness (faltering).

I think it's a good subject to discuss it in a new topic. How styles/transitions should manage resources (current implementation, one united file with all resources for one project, and placing resources as usual files to a project's folder).

Currently .resources folder is an automatically managed storage. Every project should has own copy of this storage to avoid possible conflicts with another project. Because files are added and removed automatically depending on slides which use certain style(s).

I suggest to start a new topic where we can discuss management of resources, and how it can be improved.

I use the screen grab feature available in GeForce Experience (free) which compliments my nVidia Graphics card and gives excellent results. The resulting mp4 can be played standalone or re-introduced into PTE for further refinement.

Yes, NVIDIA Geforce Experience free app provides the best visual quality for screen recording to a MP4 video. You can record video at 1920 x 1080 with 60 frames per second. Or probably in 4K.

[Faltering images in exe file]

Hi,

Usually all computers of the last 10-15 years are able to cope with smooth panning of images in EXE shows.

I attach a sample simple project which you can check. JPEG image is 3000 x 1080.

What pixel size of your images?

I recommend update drivers for your graphic card, if even our sample project shows not-smooth animation on your PC.
