  1. Thomas, This problem will be solved in Beta 11. We found solution for this issue. Also overall reliability of VideoBuilder will be greatly improved.
  2. Jean, You're right. I had same thought and now I see confirmation for that from you. We'll fix this issue. This will work only if before a replacement object name and file name were same. To avoid confusion with a case when an user manually changed object name.
  3. We just fixed this bug in Beta 11.
  4. I confirm this bug. We'll fix it in Beta 11 of version 7.0
  5. Hello Cedric, Thanks! We'll check up today later. And I'll write you.
  6. Hello David, I've sent you a copy of your license key in a personal message through the forum.
  7. PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta 10 is available now. Download link in the first post above. List of changes: + Improved preview window for a video clip when adjusting "Start time" and "Duration" in the Objects and animation editor. Click a small button located on the right side from time value. In this preview window you can enter End time or Duration for video clips. + Added support of M2V and M2T video formats. + Various small improvements. * Fixed issue (Beta 1-9) with quick flash of green rectangle instead of video clip in the editor and in the main window. * Fixed bug (v6.0-7.0 Beta 9) when a slideshow with startup window and password protection asks for the password twice. * Fixed issue (v5.0-7.0 Beta 9) with color dialog window with manual typing of new values. * Fixed issues (v7.0 Beta 7-9) with playback of some MPEG2 HD video files. * Small bug-fixes. * Improved reliability.
  8. Thanks, Tom! We'll fix both issues.
  9. Mike, I didn't test 720p with Canon 550D yet, but I think it will have a similar problem. Real resolution will be lower than 720p. Very sharp video picture with more details might cause a moire problem (and aliasing), and for this reason Canon reduces resolution. We need cameras which can record at 3K (3000 x 1687 pixels). Same thing with still images from digital cameras. A picture natively captured at 2048x1365 will not be equal to a picture captured at 5184x3456 and then reduced to 2048x1365 in a graphical editor.
  10. Thanks for all responses! Dan, I think version 7.0 Beta 9 is enough reliable to use it as main version.
  11. Thomas, Thanks for details! Beta 10 will be published soon (probably on Friday). We'll try fix this bug. Thank you!
  12. Thank you, Mike! I discovered same thing with this video, too. In all cameras, Canon 5D, 7D and 550D real sharpness are equal 1280x720 or so.
  13. Thanks! We'll fix this bug in following beta version. Thank you, I think I'm guessing what could cause this problem. We'll try fix this in following beta. Please let me know additional information - did you use successfully previous beta releases (Beta 1-8) or version 6.5 for this video output?
  14. Thanks Lin, Indeed there are no still pictures in this show, only video clips I recorded and used video clips in a style of a classical slideshow. Pan/Zoom effects also were applied to video clips inside PicturesToExe. No color correction. I've used tripod but camera always was stationary.
  15. I published my show "Spring Time" which use all key features of PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0:
  16. Spring Time (1:58) I dreamed about an idea of this AV show during many years. Composed in PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta 9. Executable file for PC (Best quality): http://www.wnsoft.com/files/picturestoexe/slideshows/Spring-Time.exe (146 MB) Watch on YouTube (If you prefer this variant, please don't forget switch to 1080p quality)
  17. Hello Charlie, Thank you for the file! I discovered interesting thing with this file (Canon 5D) and with my video files from Canon 550D too. Both cameras record video clips at 1080p, but real vertical resolution is only 720 lines. I capture a frame from a static scene using video editor or MPC-HC. Source size is 1920x1080 pixels. I reduce picture to 1280x720 and then enlarge back to 1980x1080 and there is no difference with original picture. It means that real resolution is equal to 1280x720. And I can convert all my footage for PicturesToExe to 1280x720 keeping original sharpness and reduce CPU loading and disc space. Same thing with my another compact camera - Canon IXUS 100IS. It records video clips at 1280x720. But real resolution is equal to DVD or so. I can surmise that we need cameras which can capture video with higher resulution than 1080p.
  18. I need two sample video files from Canon 5D Mark II and Canon 7D. Please upload these files. Thanks in advance! - only 1080p; - raw MOV format directly from a camera; - stabilized video captured from these cameras on tripod (if possible).
  19. Ken, I just uploaded this file to www.virustotal.com online service which can check files using several dozens of different antiviruses. It found nothing. Please re-download the file again. Probably your AVG antivirus settings have the highest level of sensitivity?
  20. Jean-Cyprien, Probably it's the bug of PicturesToExe. Please watch for this situation and let me know if this will occur again. Also each version of PicturesToExe creates own unique folder for cached files, even if you install several beta versions into one folder. Also an each new beta version doesn't import cached files from previous beta. So you needn't care about these things.
  21. Thanks, Jean-Cyprien! It's interesting issue. I see that the executable file has an incorrectly converted PNG image file Depuis.png. We convert PNG files to internal format based on ZIP format (lossless compression). And in this case conversion failed for some reason. PicturesToExe uses cache of recently converted PNG images and now every time you get wrong file in EXE or fullscreen preview. Honestly I don't know what caused this problem, because I can successfully build executable file with text picture. The temporal solution will be: - Rename Depuis.png file (the best variant). - Or move this file into another folder. In both cases, PicturesToExe will convert PNG file again and I hope this time it will work. Or you can uninstall Beta 9 to clear cache of converted PNG images. Please watch will it completely solve the problem or it will return again?
  22. Jean-Cyprien, I had a problem with loading of any project files from this ZIP archive. One image file has non-latine symbols. I found this file Dode.png and also renamed in the object (Dode.png) on Slide #2. Then I was able open it. I see the text on second slide (view). I've uploaded executable file and modified sources: http://www.wnsoft.com/test/Sorcier_modified.zip http://www.wnsoft.com/test/Sorcier_708A.exe Could you please upload EXE file? Also try to remove remove all other slides, objects to keep as possible small number of objects to reproduce this problem.
  23. Hello Randi, The problem with color management (manual settings) was with versions since 5.0 under Windows XP only. I'm sure it's a fault of ATI/AMD company. I had a conversation with a person from ATI. He've confirmed this problem and said that it's not a high priority problem for ATI. They concentrated on 3D games. That very sadly. There are no such problems under Windows 7 and Windows Vista (at least with my old ATI video card). The explanation is very simple - ATI/AMD had to adapt their drivers for the new user interface called Aero Glass, because new Windows use Direct 3D mode as PicturesToExe.
  24. I think it's a hardaware issue or problem with drivers. Please download and install (or re-install) the latest drivers for your video card. It should help. Also it's better to install all Windows updates if applicable.
  25. Hello, Please try uninstall PicturesToExe Deluxe 6.5 and re-install it again. If it doesn't help and Preview function still is not workable, try the latest version 7.0 Beta 9: Let me know about result, please.
