  1. Sheila, Please send me this video file which causes crashes of PicturesToExe. We'll check up.
  2. Please uncheck "Show Navigation bar" option if you create an executable file for Mac in version 7.0 Beta. It's a temporal limitation.
  3. We compress slideshow engine in executable file for PC (about 450 KB). And no compression in executables for Mac (about 1500 KB). But if you pack Mac slideshow into ZIP file it should be almost same (2-4% of difference). Please send me sample video file. Thanks! I'll download the file and we will check up. Update: I've reproduced this problem.
  4. Hello, We're sorry about this problem! Please could you try newest version 7.0 Beta 12? It's enough stable build: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/picturestoexe/picturestoexe-beta.exe If even the new version doesn't work, please tell me step by step how to reproduce this problem.
  5. PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta 12 is available now. Download link in the first post above. List of changes: * Fixed problem (v7.0 Beta 11) with crashes of the program after editing of background music in the Project options. * Fixed issues (v7.0 Beta 1-11) with synchronization between audio and video in WMV files. * Fixed problem (v7.0 Beta 1-11) with crashing of PicturesToExe after change on Default Settings in the Project options | More tab.
  6. John, Thanks for the file! I've reproduced this problem. It happens when a project has blank slides. I just fixed this bug in Beta 12.
  7. John, Send me please this project file. I'll reproduce this problem and will fix it.
  8. It would better see this show. Please upload EXE file. I tried reproduce this situation and everything works. Please also make sure that a full slide duration is equal to duration of a video clip. If slide lives longer than video clip it will causes frozen picture of video on the screen. Please disable the Navigation bar option in the Project options. It should help. This is a temporal limitation. Thanks for the file! We're working on the solution now.
  9. Thanks for the confirmation! Of course, PicturesToExe needs 32-bit color mode of display for right color management. Other files are not required now. When a video clip linked to video master object - they all work as one video clip. Replacing of video file in one video object will replace video in all linked video objects. If you unlink one object (setting Single video clip mode) it becomes independent and now you can replace its video filename to another.
  10. Hello, Yes, it's possible. P.S. We will remove 10 slide limit in trial version 7.0.
  11. Xaver, Please send me the sample video file. I'll check up for synchronization.
  12. Chris, Yes, I discovered their new website yesterday exactly when we launched our new website. We started works on our new web design on past September. I sent drafts of our new web design to several users of PicturesToExe six months ago.
  13. Dave, Success, at last! Thanks, I see it now.
  14. Dave, Sorry, I still can't reproduce this bug. Could you please tell step-by-step?
  15. Please read my reply here:
  16. Thanks for your comments!
  17. Hello Jean-Pierre, It's a very interesting problem! Please could you save this project by another file name and leave only one slide with this image file (bird). Then please send me project file and image in ZIP archive (you can use "Create backup in ZIP" function in the main menu | File). And upload file to www.mediafire.com Also could you check up display settings that it set to 32-bit color. Thanks in advance! P.S. Thanks Lin for the translation!
  18. Hello, Thanks for your report! Please could you repeat the problem with adding of background music and give me step-by-step instruction to reproduce this issue? Other problems probably happened because the project file was damaged after the first error.
  19. We launched an updated WnSoft web site today. And we plan improve it continuously with new information. http://www.wnsoft.com
  20. Do you mean connecting/disconnecting of monitor? Sorry for obvious request, but please make sure that you're testing latest Beta 11. I thought we fixed this issue. Probably it's a different situation, because we tested with desktop PC. Please send me screenshot of entire screen.
  21. I think it's a right behaviour of PicturesToExe. But I agree that it may cause misunderstanding. So I suggest automatically rename video clip when it linked to a master video clip to have same name (excluding a case when it had an unique name set by user).
  22. Barry, You have raised a good point, but I don't see a simple solution for adjusting of last slide to the end of background music. PicturesToExe optimized for manual settings of slides and it conflicts with automatic options like this. For example: 1. What should happen if you move last slide to another place in the slide list? What slide duration will be for new last slide and for old last slide? 2. What happens if you add a new slide to the end slide list in the Slide list mode? Should it reduce duration of current last slide to fit a new slide within background music?
  23. Please send me sample video clip. We'll check up. Barry, Could you please try reproduce this situation again? I'm afraid I need exact step by step instruction and project files to recreate this problem and fix it. Also does the Project options window was opened when this error occured? Thanks in advance.
  24. You can try now Beta 11 with the new conception of slide duration.
  25. PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta 11 is available now. The most significant change in this beta version related with slide duration. Please read my post here: Download link in the first post above. List of changes: + PicturesToExe now shows full slide duration in the Slide list, the Customize slide window, and in the Project options. Full slide duration is a pure slide duration including duration of transition effect to next slide. Also the program keeps full duration of slides after moving of slide(s) or after adding of new slides. You can disable this mode. See options "Show full slide durations" and "Keep full slide duration" (Main menu | View | Advanced Options). + Added the program option "Set Video Editor". See the main menu | View | Advanced Options. Then choose a video file in the Slide list or in the File list, click right mouse button to show popup menu and click "Edit file". + Replacement of a main image/video file will update related object name (if user didn't change object name manually) * Improved stability of PicturesToExe. * Improved stability of VideoBuilder and compatibility with DVD drives. * Fixed problems (v5.6-7.0 Beta 10) with creating of H.264 video (MP4, YouTube/Facebook, iPhone/iPad video) on some PCs. * Fixed issues (v4.20-7.0 Beta 10) with creating of AVI video files on some PCs. * Fixed bug (v5.50-7.0 Beta 10) with edit controls with a slider (for example "Opacity" in the Objects & Animation editor) on a PC with two monitors. * Fixed bug (v7.0 Beta 1-10) with launching of another show which contains video clips using "Run slideshow" command. * Fixed several old bugs in the timeline.
