  1. The parameter EnableAspect=1 is intended for future versions. It works and uses other hidden parameters, but we will add it to the interface in later versions. Please remove this line or set to "0" (zero).
  2. Xaver, Please try the updated version with the fix: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/picturestoexe/picturestoexe-setup.exe
  3. Thanks! I reproduced this problem. We'll try fix it quickly and then I'll publish the updated version.

    A Bug ?

Xaver, Sorry for late response, I just replied.
  5. Thanks! Please upload the source project files and give me the instruction to reproduce this problem. I'll check up tomorrow.
  6. Hello Peter, Thanks for reporting about this problem! Regrettably I can't reproduce it without step by step instruction. P.S. In version 7.5 we rewrote some parts of code related with this function.
  7. It's a very interesting idea. However we don't recommend use this utility for executable slideshows for the following reasons: 1. It's difficult to reach 2GB memory limit in a slideshow. PicturesToExe keeps in the memory only 3 slides and unload old used slides. 2. Small number of installed 64-bit Windows on PCs of users. If you plan to exceed 2Gb limit and patched EXE file works on your 64-bit PC with Windows 7 x64, it will not work correctly on 32-bit version of Windows. 3. Strange problem with antiviruses. Avira antivirus said that patched EXE file has a virus and but no problem with the original EXE file. Although the only difference is 4 bytes in the EXE file. Probably this utility is good for 3D games. Maybe even it can be used to patch the main program of PicturesToExe.exe because the editor can utilize more memory than a slideshow. But definitely it's only for personal use.
  8. Hello Peter, I think that file "Challenge v8.exe" was damaged or modified. Incorrect icon also points that file is damaged. The possible reason of damage can be a fault of hard drive or viruses.
  9. ARM version of Windows 8 will support applications designed in the Metro style only. So we can't adapt PicturesToExe quickly.
  10. I tested briefly PicturesToExe Deluxe with Windows 8 Consumer Preview which was released yesterday for everyone. No problems with PicturesToExe and created slideshows. P.S. Just my personal opinion. The new Metro user interface used in Windows 8 looks very strange on a desktop computer. No Start button anymore. Start menu was replaced by a new fullscreen Start page in a the new style of Metro UI. Primitivism, instead of beauty and simplicity.
  11. I confirm this problem. We'll inform our web hoster.
  12. Hello Laszlo, Many thanks for your translation of our User Manual to Hungarian language! Here some thoughts on the problems that you raised. I admire the quality of the French User Manual completely written by Jean-Charles! Regrettably I have no enough time (and skills of a technical writer) to write same English User manual. This was written by our employee. And I really want to rewrite it completely. Also I plan to provide the printed English User manual when it's done (in future). The problem in a fact that a writer should know PicturesToExe very well, has skills of technical writer and do it for every version. I contacted with specialized companies to order writing of the user manual. Their service is expensive, but the good result is not guaranteed because they can't know the our software program very well. I wouldn't want to get a formal description of features. P.S. I'm thinking on this problem right now and I'll glad to hear any advices and suggestions on this subject.
  13. Our initial intention was to suggest a significant discount for organizations. Schools, colleges, commercial companies, and other organizations. It required one license key for all computers in this organization. And PicturesToExe was used only within PCs in this organization. I know that camera clubs also are organizations. But they mainly buy PicturesToExe for their members who use PicturesToExe on home computers. And one license key will be used on many different computers. And here we face with three problems for our company: 1. Members of camera clubs are our main customers. And suggesting such significant discount at 50%-80% for bulk sales we ruin our business in fact. Sorry to write this! 2. I think that each user of PicturesToExe should have individual license key. 3. If we ship separate license keys for bulk purchase (with great discount) we can create a second market of resellers who will make bulk purchases of PicturesToExe and sell separate license keys. We will compete with ourselves. So we changed our policy for discounts. And now we can offer only some personal discount (10-20%) for members of camera clubs if they want to purchase in bulk. Each copy comes with a separate license key. Please contact me for details. As I know this discount is typical for other competing software products in this area. P.S. Sorry for talking about these unpleasant things and with hope on your understanding.
  14. Eric, You can adjust mipmapping option for the Text and Image objects in version 7.0. Choose an object, go to the Properties tab and adjust the "Sharper/smoother" parameter to solve text juddering for that particular case. I think setting "Sharper/smoother" to "0" will be enough.
  15. Hello, There were problems with this discount. Also our competitors don't have similar offers. That discount was for organizations and companies only. A customer received one license key for all copies for his organization. Now we send separate license key for each copy. Please contact me, we can provide some personal discount for you.
  16. Thanks for details and for your comment!
  17. Thanks. It's a false positive. We'll inform developers of this antivirus. Please let me know your version of PicturesToExe.
  18. Hello, I'm sorry about the problem with support tickets! But it should work without any problems. I just checked up - today I see same number support tickets from customers as yesterday. I placed a test ticket and entered captcha code to submit the ticket. It passed without any problem. Please try again: http://www.wnsoft.com/support/ Click "Submit a ticket" button. If it doesn't work, please attach a screenshot of the page with security code (captcha) and digits/symbols what you entered. I'll check up. Or please send me your request by personal message through the forum.
  19. Please don't forget that it's a experimental feature (although reliable). We can change the parameters in the following version.
  20. Xaver, Thank you for the executable files! On my PC with Windows 7 I see no difference between both versions. I agree with Peter: It possible with "Run application" command. The better variant is to use "Run slideshow on exit" instead of. I don't understand why it didn't work. Please check the correctness of file paths. The recommended solution is to put both parts into one folder (no any sub-folders) and point only filename in the "Run slideshow..." command: "Part2.exe". I have good news for the problem that you touched at the beginning. We plan to introduce the solution to group slides of slideshows. That's all I can say right now.
  21. That was experimental feature. We plan finish this feature in version 7.5. P.S. Does anybody tried Ctrl+Shift+P for Image object? And again to see another effect
  22. Hi Xaver , Please send me sample EXE files.
  23. Peter, Thanks for raising the interesting problem! A Frame object can be used as a rectangle area to simulate a graphical button on an Image object. I remember that Lin Evans used this technique in his works. Can I suggest the following change. Frame (with zero opacity) will be automatically transparent for mouse clicks if it doesn't have assigned "Action" (in the Common tab). It should solve this logical issue.
  24. Thanks, Tom! Really good idea. We can recover order ID by email automatically. Then customer can purchase the upgrade. In difficult cases a customer can contact us and we'll find his order ID manually.
  25. Of course. It's a difficult task, but we keep our promises.
