We still can't exactly hear this audio delay. 1. Can you please prepare another sample video where I could find exact "marks" for synchronization? For example, voice starts exactly with a flash of white rectangle. 2. Time position where you find audio delay (and value of time day, for example 1 second). 3. Barry, Thank you for the file! I've reproduced this problem which occurs under OS X 10.6 (no problem with 10.5.x). This bug related with this particular MP3 file. If I remove it or replace to another MP3 file, the shows starts sucessfully. What software you've used to encode this MP3 file? There are two variants - bug in code of PicturesToExe or this audio file is damaged.

Dave, Thanks for sample show and project file. I've tested "HAY 11_6_25 for MAC7.zip" show for Mac and I confirm this problem. This problem happens only in version 7.0 Beta because the show has enabled the navigation bar. It's a known issue with current beta versions. To solve this problem, please turn off "Show Navigation bar" option in the Project options, the Main tab. And then create executable for Mac again. To avoid similar problems, since Beta 14 we will automatically disable navigation bar option for Mac while this feature is not finished for Mac.

FFMpeg library supports transparent video in FLV format. We will implement playback of 32-bit video clips in following version(s).

Hello Dave, Please send me Mac executable file and single .pte project file, I'll check up. Currently slideshow engine for Mac in version 7.0 Beta same as in version 6.5. It should work when Navigation bar is turned off. Also there is another known bug that a show with startup window doesn't work on Mac.

Simply re-install version 6.5 to restore file association for projects. All other settings will be kept untouched.

It would be wonderful if somebody could extend these articles with more detailed information regarding AV events, people and organizations in the UK and France (and other countries). Xaver, There is "GPL and LGPL components.txt" text file in the main folder of PicturesToExe with a list of used GPL and LGPL utilities and components. For x264 we provide the following information in this file: "X264 http://www.videolan.org/developers/x264.html It is released under the terms of the GPL license." Usually companies don't point exact version which they're using. I didn't find this requirement, but probably I was wrong. Almost all slideshow sofware products use x264 GPL library for a long time. We honestly declare that we're using x264 library, we keep original filename of x264 library.

We will not include support of video clips in executables for Mac in final version 7.0. You see how much time it took to implement video clips support for PC version. And we would not delay release of version 7.0 for another several months to complete Mac support. This function will appear in the following update 7.1 (several months later after publication of v7.0). I'm sorry for this delay! In version 7.0 you can create executables with video clips for PC. Produce DVD, AVI, H.264 video files. Publish show on YouTube and Facebook. If you need produce slideshows or AV shows with video clips for Mac, please export show as a video file. See update below

Robert, PicturesToExe installs a special video codec in Windows which also available for other programs (we can't make it visible only for PicturesToExe). We this video codec PicturesToExe produces virtual AVI video file which doesn't contain video stream (only audio stream). This AVI file just a link between PicturesToExe and player/video editor to transfer uncompressed video frames as is. Other video editors can create AVI file using this codec, but file will be useless and is not suitable for playback.
