Hi Tom, Please download and run this sample executable with video for Mac. Will it work on your OSX Lion Mac? http://www.wnsoft.com/files/test/VideoTest_Mac_Beta16.zip (15 MB) I've created it in Beta 16 where we've improved stability of Mac executables. If this test works, and your executables don't, please upload sample show for me. We'll check up. It's very important. Thanks in advance!

I confirm this problem with iPad and iPhone output. I hope that we successfully solved it in future Beta 16. Please try it when it's published.

Hi, I forgot activate this function for audio file. Beta 16 will unlock this feature. Thanks for the file! I think this problem should not occur any more, because in the Beta 15 we've fixid a very similar error. Please let me know if it will happen again.

I just posted Beta 15 with major improvements and new features. It fixes the problem with some MP3 files for Mac executables. Also it brings up all features of version 7.0 for Mac executables. And we've added voice recording.

Hello Ian, Did you use new built-in video converter integrated to PicturesToExe? Could you please send me sample video clips which cause out-of-sync problem and freezings?
-
Ray, 1. What will happen if you add this AVI file and then click "Convert All" button? 2. Add this AVI to the converter. Can you click Play button in miniPlayer or use rewinding to see picture of video clip? 3. If you add directly these AVI video clips to PicturesToExe - can you see a picture of video clip and will it play? 4. Try add and convert this sample video clip (8 MB): http://www.wnsoft.com/files/test/test.avi Please let me know about result. Thanks in advance!

Hello, Please could you upload this MOV file? We'll try fix this incompatibility. You can use www.mediafire.com to upload file and then send me a download link by personal message.

Bernard, Regarding output quality in video converter. Above mentioned software convert video clips to H.264 format which gives smaller file size, it but takes more CPU loading for further decoding. In PicturesToExe we have to play video clips in real time (sometimes in complex scenes) and we need use less "heavy" video format. Our video converter outputs video in MPEG4-ASP format which optimal for real time playback in executable slideshows. Please send me source video file and converted. I'll check up. We'll try solve incompatibility with MP3 files saved in Camtasia. For Mac executables we use an audio decoder provided by Mac OSX and probably something changed there. Thanks for your report! 1. Currently out video converter makes video only in our format optimized for PicturesToExe (MPEG4-ASP). We'll fix bug with missed filter and file extension. 2. Resizing of picture will appear in next beta version(s). 3. Please send me this FLV file. I'll check up for this problem. It's important to fix this bug. Thanks! We've fixed this bug in Beta 15. Sorry, I can't reproduce this problem. What version of Windows you have? Does anybody experienced similar problem with Beta 14 or previous beta? I confirm this bug. It will be fixed in Beta 15 today.

Thanks, Ray! I confirm this bug with file extension. We'll fix it in Beta 15.

Lin, Thanks, we'll try improve this feature. I remember.
-
Good news. We've implemented all new features for Mac executables. Video clips, unsharp mask and new navigation bar. So it should appears during a week in a beta version.
-
Hi Lin. You're right, of course. We'll integrate converter into PTE when I return back to home. We had to hurry because of my trip. Currently I'm in Tallin, Estonia (EU). Beautiful Old Town by the way. Igor

Thanks! I'll take DSLR camera. Also I have to finish slideshow for my previous trip to the UK.
-
OK, we'll try again.

I'll be out of office for 2 weeks from July 27 to August 9 to visit several events in Estonia and spend some time in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Indeed I didn't plan my vacation before final release of version 7.0, but I have to visit Estonia and it's more easy continue my trip to nearest countries with open visas. I bring apologies for a delay with the release date and delays with my replies on the forum and emails. In my absence my colleagues should finish video convertor for version 7.0 and probably we will able adapt slideshow's engine (executables) for Mac with all features of version 7.0. Good news are that we even started work on following version 7.5 and already finished one major improvement. Future version will be a great step in evolution of PicturesToExe.

Thanks! I understand importance of it. Probably Windows software will completely migrate to managed code that solves problem 32-bit vs 64-bit Currently we can't easily migrate to 64-bit. Legacy of old code.
-
Currently almost all software are 32-bit. Windows will support 32-bit executables many years. I think you needn't worry about this. Slideshows rarely require memory larger than 2 GB. Also producing of two files (for 32-bit and 64-bit) can make a mess for many users.

Hello, Please send me source files of this project or executable file with show which does not play. I'll check up for this problem. You can use www.mediafire.com free service to upload files and then send me personal message with a download link.

Thank you very much! It will be a text field on the order page. A customer can type his answer. For example: "Where did you hear about this software?" -> "A friend"
-
Please could you help me with a translation of a text line to different languages for our order page. Where you heard about this software? (English text probably requires a correction). Thanks in advance!
