If somebody create DVD video discs, you will be pleased to learn that now PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 produces more sharp picture for DVD. I think that version 7.0 Beta 1 provide even better picture quality for DVD than nearest competitor.

Ron, Can you reproduce your reproduce this issue if you start new project in previous version 6.5, then save project file, open in version 7.0 Beta 1 and then add this video clip? If the problem occurs only with that original project, please could you send source files of this original project in ZIP archive?

But I think to add a name of transition effect (for selected slide) to the status bar of the main window. I had a similar thought about changing of "AB" text, but it also will cause a problem with translation to other languages. And width of this button will not be fixed anymore and this way horizontal position of transition effect time also will change. We'll discuss your suggestion regarding other imporvements for the main window (toolbars). We have plans to vastly rework the main window of the program, Project options window, and Slide properties in one from two next versions. nobeefstu, Good idea! But probably it better display "1/25" instead of "Slide 1 of 25"? Because otherwise we need to localize these words for many languages, that currently impossible. What you think? Tonton Bruno, OK. Personally I tested with my video files from my cameras and phones: - Canon 550D (MOV with H.264 1080p) - Canon IXUS 100IS (MOV with H.264 720p) - Sony NEX-5 (MP4 and MTS with H.264 1080p and 1080i). - iPhone 3GS (MOV, H.264 480p) All these video files play fine in PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta. We're trying do the best that we can. Some issues with particular video files can be resolved, some not. Probably you've faced with a situation when even the best video player doesn't play all files you have. In the nearest beta releases we will include built-in video convertor to get video into the best format for PicturesToExe. The best formatd of video for PicturesToExe are DIVX, XVID or MPEG4-ASP (NOT H.264) at 1280 x 720 30p. For these video clips I get just 6% of CPU loading on my home PC. Lin, Navigation bar is enabled by default for a new project started in version 7.0 Beta. If you modify an old project, created in previous versions (or you start project based on an old template), please turn on new navigation bar manually. Dan, Earlier version had a problem with video playback on Geforce FX series. Please try updated video show created with newer version, as recommended above: However Geforce FX 5200 is a lowest video card in Geforce FX series and probably it will not enough fast for video playback.

Gary, Peter, We've explored this issue. It's a normal behaviour of current version of the forum. Developers of Invision forum engine has announced improved view of new content in the next version 3.2.0. For more details, please read here: http://community.invisionpower.com/blog/1174/entry-5858-ipboard-320-view-new-content-and-topic-marking/ We'll install this future version once it released. There is temporal solution. Please log off after using of the forum. Or untick the option "Rememeber me" before logging on. It solves this problem.

Thanks, Xaver. We're discussing this question already for a long time. The main difficulty how to integrate it to PicturesToExe to keep as possible more unified interface with current user interface. Probably we'll implement it in nearest versions. This feature in my TODO list.
