  1. Bert, Slideshowclub.com doesn't function like Beechbrook.com did. I used a separate mailing system for show notifications. Slideshowclub.com has a built in function which sends email notifications or gives site notifications, your choice, but you have to configure your profile accordingly. Click on your name under "MEMBERS", click on "EDIT MY PROFILE". Select "NOTIFICATION OPTIONS" and go down to the "DOWNLOADS" section. You can make your choices there. After making these choices please let me know if you still do not receive notices. :)/>/> Regards, Bill
  2. Jim. Thank you so much for your kind words. You have certainly provided some great shows on Beechbrook for its many visitors,. But above all you have been a MAJOR supporter financially for many, many years. For that I am forever in your debt. Thank you !! Bill.
  3. Great. Welcome aboard Eric! I'm right there with ya. Registration shouldn't be a matter of National Security should it? :lol:/>/>/> - Bill
  4. Eric. If you look just to the bottom of most screens you will see a link for 'Help' , one for 'Disclaimer' and one for 'Privacy Policy' that are available to everyone without registering. Helpfully these will be of some benefit. - Bill
  5. Michael. Thanks for your comments. I look forward to seeing some of your work soon! - Bill

  11. Dave, I found this on the web concerning the D600. "Exposure metering is determined through Nikon's Intelligent Scene Recognition System, which utilizes 3D Color Matrix Metering II. This metering system makes use of a 2016-pixel RGB sensor for evaluating the entire scene's brightness and contrast values, subject distance and colors in order to determine the exposure settings. The acquired data is then stored for comparative use to ensure consistency among different exposures in regard to white balance and overall exposure values. It also helps to improve i-TTL flash measurements and subject-tracking focus." Whether or not the Nikon D600 then retains this info for later use.... I don't know. Sorry, Canon man! :-) Bill
  12. Dave, Cheap and dirty way is to use IrfanView. It provides Subject Distance in the EXIF data if it's available from your camera. Bill

  25. Hello Tony. Welcome back. You should be good to go. The latest version will install in a separate folder from your current version.Once you see it is working OK you can uninstall the previous version if you want to. If you have paid the initial fee for the basic version of PTE there are no additional fees. However once your license expires for the Deluxe version there is an additional cost. From Wnsoft website: Upgrade to PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.5 for Existing Users For owners of the Standard edition You can install and use this new version for free within the features of the Standard edition. Or you can upgrade to the full Deluxe edition of PicturesToExe 7.5 and use all the new functions. For owners of Deluxe edition You have 2 years of free upgrades to any future versions from the date of your original purchasing of Deluxe edition. If your license key has expired for this new version, you can choose any of these ways: use any previous version with all the functions for an unlimited time;use this new version within the functions of the Standard edition;pay for the upgrade to the latest Deluxe version. Upgrade Policy This upgrade requires a previous license key for PicturesToExe. After the upgrade to the new Deluxe edition (from the Standard edition or expired Deluxe edition) you will receive a second license key for the Deluxe features that allows for free upgrades to all minor versions. Your original license key still allows the use of any future versions for free within the Standard edition regardless of the second Deluxe key. Regards, Bill
