  6. Hi Paulo, I have been a great fan of that particular French site for a couple of years now, some of those sequences are just magical, its worth looking at time and time again. I went onto the French forum awhile ago now, but could not speak French, I used google translator but not very good. I know Peter is a member and I believe he does speak French but for me it was to hard, but boy do they have some great sequences, so I always look in now and again. Hi Ken, Thanks for stopping by to see the sequence, yes, fond memories, did you spot me??? all masked up and looking quite scary, I was also on the wall just before the start. Hi DG. Thanks also for stopping by to look. This was put together sometime ago and I have the original photos but not the original PTE files, I loaned them to someone from my old camera club on disk and never had them returned. I know I have alot to learn but it was one of my very first attempts and It was shown at a public charity show and gained many positive comments, I will rebuild in PTE 6.5 though. regards to all Ralph
  7. Hello Paul, thanks so much for the advice. It was nearly two years ago when this was put together and I was still very green, it was only the third sequence I had ever made in my life and as said I intend to re-build in PTE 6.5. It was fun at the time but I promise to take what you have said on board, I am very grateful for any hints and tips from those who take the time to view our shows. Just to say, I love PTE to bits and love reading all the posts, its fun to learn and improve at the same time. Thanks again Paul for your time in viewing the sequence and for your very constructive ideas. regards ralph
  8. Hello again Paul, Yes I agree with you re planet and constellation names etc, but your sequence is still lots of fun to view and it makes a nice change from all the straight 'fade in fade out' sequences that we see, not to say that those type of sequences are not of top quality, far from it, but its nice to see a change and for someone to have fun putting your kind of sequence together and using PTE's full range. So well done once again from me. regards ralph
  9. Hello Paul, I really love your reworked sequence, its a topic close to my heart. Your timings work perfectly and are very impressive, the animation is extremely well executed. The music is a very good choice. You are very talented and once again its great to see PTE used in this way. Im also glad to read that you use photoshop, as I do sometimes. Just brilliant, keep up the great work Paul Ralph
  10. Dear Lin, My family and I are deeply sorry to hear about your sad loss, our prayers and thoughts are with you Lin. You will have some wonderful memories and I hope life will be kind to you Lin Our deepest sympathies Ralph and Family
  11. In the summer of 2007 I was lucky to be a weekend warrior for the LNT panoz team. This sequence shows behind the scene views and some candid shots. Once again this was put togther some 2 years ago and I intend to rework it it the new version of PTE so I apologies for some of the animations but as with Theatre world it was fun playiong around, I think we all played around with PTE when we first bought the program (well maybe some of us). The team finished fifth in class in 2007 but the year before it came first, cant say that I brought the team good luck. regards and thanks to all who view the sequence Ralph Le Mans 2007
  12. Theatre world, a slide show put together on 27th jan 2009. I played around with animation on this one, it might be to much for some but it was fun putting it together. I intend to load the files up onto the new version of PTE and re-work it. I hope you see the 'flashing' green traffic signal at the beginning. When I made this sequence over a year and a half ago our good friend Lin Evans was doing some fantastic work with animation and my inspiration came from the great man himself. I also will be posting a link to a show about Le mans 24hr race, I was there as a weekend warrior for the team shown, also put together on an old version of PTE Thanks to all who view and thanks. Ralph My link
  13. Hi Colin, I enjoyed your sequence, I know, and many others do what time consuming work it is, but really enjoyable when it all comes together. I think its great that members play arond with PTE, it allows us all to adapt our own photographic shows and work like this gives inspiration. Peters advice is as usual spot on, I have followed his advice on one of my shows and it made a great differance to the 'smoothness, Well done Colin regards ralph
  14. Hello Mick, I really liked the photography in this presentation, a good mix and the presentation allowed the viewer to get inside the castle and grounds. Well done Ralph
  15. Hi Paulo, thanks so very much for the explanation, I really appreciate your time on this. I consider myself an amateur at photography and any help is very much appreciated, I will learn from your knowledge. Thanks again regards ralph
  16. Hello Brian, Great show and thank you for sharing. I read a quote recently 'The tyrany of art' Mmm. In my humble opinion anything can be seen or judged as 'Political' its all in the mind of the beholder. If we ever get moderated to that extent I for one would leave this site as Im sure others would. Our photography is an art and should be seen as that, Igor has given us the wonderful PTE to enable us to show it to the world in all its glory. Of course there are certain things that should not be shown, I do not have explain myself in that area but if people 'read' political its because of the mindset in my opinion. Great work Brian and thanks for sharing regards Ralph
  17. Hi Barry, Due to personal issues ive been away from the forums for awhile and just started to post again. Ive viewed some sequences and left remarks as I felt they were well justified because of the good work produced. But Barry, this post of yours is excellent. Ive been a user of photoshop for ten years going back to version 5 and have always preached its benefits. Ive left the camera club I was a member of but I would have loved to have played your slide show to the members. Hopefully one or two of them will read your post and view the slideshow you put together. I would of loved to have seen replies to your post from even more of the experienced photographers!!!!!!. Barry, well done, brilliant. regards Ralph

  21. Hi Paul, Thanks for the show, I really love the old planes, great photography. As an amateur regarding photography can I ask what general settings you had on your camera and what camera you took those shots with? Music fitted the show great, just brilliant regards Ralph
  22. Hello Igor, Thank you so much to you and the team, this product is unbeatable and I wish you well for the future, thansk again for all your hard work, congratulations. regards Ralph
  23. Hi Barry, This has been around for several years. I remember my old professor using this trick on an old hard drive that literally froze, although early nineties drives were not as good as todays, it still allowed him to get the information off that he really needed, so yes it does bring results as I also have seen it work, a great tip not to be ignored. regards ralph
  24. Hi Daniel, I really liked your show and thanks to Lin for the historical piece, thanks for sharing your sequence with us. Regards Ralph
