  1. Hello Cici, welcome back and very best wishes for 2013 regards ralph
  2. Hi Barry, Thank you for your reply and further advice. I'm getting used to the camera now and I,m sure my photography is coming up to scratch. I did not intend to use the tripod, I should of said ill get the waders on. I intend to take my laptop along and view your sequence again prior to shooting and if I get 50 good ones ill be thrilled and ill make sure I have an extra card with me. thank you again ralph
  3. Hi Barry, I really appreciate the advice you have given me and hopefully it will also help others, looks like my tripod will get its feet wet. I'm hoping we do have some sunshine on the day but I have been concentrating on exposures and am refusing to use the auto setting on my camera, so fingers crossed. regards Ralph
  4. Hello Barry, as ever you have produced a really good show and also as ever, fantastic photography. I really like the sound track. My son and partner have just gifted each other wet suits for Christmas and plan to visit Scarborough the week after new year with me tagging along to hopefully take some shots of them so your show is excellent timing and given me some idea's and inspiration. Once again the timing of slides to music is first class, I particularly like the transformations. Regarding the photography, great exposures as always. Makes me want to take up surfing, but not in the cold north sea here in the UK. regards ralph
  5. Hi Lin, Christmas brings the child out in all us men LOL and you just had this guy (pushing sixty)playing around on a interactive Christmas card. I wont tell my wife LOL im supposed to be getting our evening meal ready. I love being a child again, thank you. Best wishes Ralph
  6. Hello Celou, Merry Christams to you also and everyone here at the PTE forum. Best wishes Ralph.
  7. Hello Eric, Well you have certainly helped develope your PTE techniques im sure. I can see you have worked hard with sound effects, video and stills etc. Every time I see Anything about the Great war it continually reminds us of how so many men lost their lives and yes 'Lest We Forget' not just for this war but all wars and all the horrific things man does to itself. Ralph
  8. Hi Gary, just fabulous and thank you for putting a smile on my face, great work. I loved it and merry Christmas to you and yours and have a great new year regards ralph
  9. Hello Barry, thank you for posting, im sure it will be of great use to many and its certainly given me a couple of ideas to use when our new camera club is launched in the new year, so thank you for taking the time in producing in my opinion another flawless demo with clear precise instructions with of course demonstrating your amazing photography skills also. Merry Christmas Barry regards ralph
  10. Hello Dave, Did we really have cloud free days like that this year? I wish we had had more of them. It was certainly a lovely day and I remember oxford as I spent time at Wadham and Keeble way back in the seventies. You managed some good compositions and nice focus and the show was really informative regarding the architecture of this beautiful city. I noticed the way you focused on row the cycles and Its really good, ive been taking photos this last couple of years like that but have started photo stacking and that would have been a good one to stack. Lets hope the weather shines on us all next year but im looking forward to the snow and taking photos with my new lenses that (hopefully) santa is delivering. All the best for christmas and the new year Dave and I look forward to seeing more work from that Pentax of yours. regards ralph
  11. Hello Paul, Beautiful photography, I love the way one is drawn into the photos, great exposure. The lake distict is a beautiful area, a photographers dream and you have captured it really well. Thank you for posting and best wishes also to you and yours at Christmas. ralph

  15. Brilliant, so good to see someone working 'out the box' so to speak. I was mesmerised, totally immersed in your work, I have no negatives but I compliment you. Very atmospheric and I really enjoyed the music track you chose Mantenere il grande lavoro. ralph
  16. 18th January 2009 I purchased Lins 'How to make slideshows' To anyone new to PTE I highly reccommend that you consider adding this to compliment the user manual, very easy to follow and very inspiring. ralph
  17. Barry, Many of us love PTE, now you have shown us why. Thank you for taking the time on such a fantastic show, I will certainly make sure as many as possible see this and are also given a link to your web site. Congratulations Barry on showing Igors programme in all its beautiful glory. Ralph
  18. Charlie, I agree totally with Lins post especially about keeping an audience's interest, so Bravo from me also regards ralph
  19. Hello Les, Enjoyed your show, its a place I would love to visit so thank you for the insight. I like the sound effects and think you did well with them without going over the top and clinical (IMHO) Like others I look for ward to a sequence of your next adventure ralph
  20. Hello Igor, Thank you to you and your team for all the hard work and I look forward to using the new version. regards Ralph

  23. Hi Eric, Im not suprised by the lack of people, its been like that always. I enjoy your mini series on Salford Quays, biased I know as I said before but im really liking the photography, keep up the good work with that new camrea. Loved seeing you in (excuse the pun) reflective mood in one of your photo's. ralph
  24. Igor, Please forgive me, I forgot to thank you for all your help and the children will thank you themselves in their own special way very soon. Ralph
  25. Interesting reading a recent post about the O&A window. I now run a Camera club for 8 year olds at the school where I am fortunate to be employed. I showed PTE to them and within half an hour some of these children were clicking here and there and finding their own way around and asking questions like 'can I do this,' 'can we do that' 'how can I do that', etc etc. Maybe its an age thing but I'm certain that within a few weeks they will be showing me how to do things. PTE is the best and in my humble opinion it takes time, but time well spent to learn all its inner most workings and surely represents fantastic value for money. When I first asked them what they hoped to gain from making sequences the majority said they wanted 'to learn' and 'play around' and 'have fun' with the program. I cant wait to upload a sequence made by these children, its going to be weird and wonderful and certainly original. Watch this space Ralph
