Do you have source files of this slideshow? You can re-build executable file of the slideshow in PicturesToExe 4.49 http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/pte449.zip

Try to click right mouse button on this file and choosee "Run as administrator".

I'm guessing this slideshow was created with PicturesToExe 4.xx or earlier? If yes, please download this special utility from our official website: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/pte449patch.zip It will patch executable files of your old slideshows to bring compatibility with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

We plan publish Beta 10 tomorrow. This beta has major improvements for advanced audio editing - Envelope Tool for an individual audio clips. This tool works in a new floating window called from the Project options. The editing looks similar as in Audacity.

We just fixed this bug for future Beta 10.

Vimeo has changed web API and PicturesToExe can't perform new uploads to this service anymore. We've sent to Vimeo a request to obtain permission use their Advanced API for uploads. The answer was unexpected: After my reply, I've received the next offer: Cost of Vimeo Plus is $60 per year for a user. Because of this, we plan to remove direct Vimeo uploads from PicturesToExe Deluxe. We could leave Vimeo uploads for Plus members, but it will be strange if we continue use "Vimeo" in our promotional materials - users will not expect that our support of Vimeo is so limited. If you need upload to Vimeo, please use option "Create HD video for PC and Mac" then upload video file to Vimeo manually through their website. YouTube also supports HD video up to 1080p. So it can be a replacement for Vimeo. PicturesToExe Deluxe completely supports YouTube. Also we plan implement direct uploads to Facebook soon.

Future of personal/home HD video in online video (YouTube, Vimeo, etc) and single video files (MP4)?

Aha, I finally discovered this annoying bug! The fix will be included to the next Beta 10. How to reproduce this bug in current and previous versions: 1) Switch to the timeline view of slides. 2) Click to any item in the File list. 3) Try to open another project file.

I think so. We have to decide how to better implement this feature. I'm waiting for results of testing.

Jean-Cyprien, You have raised a new interesting theme! So I've moved your post to this new topic from "PicturesToExe Deluxe 6.5 Beta" thread. The experimental option to adjust degree of "Mipmapping (Anti-shimmering)" already available in version 6.5 Beta 8. Turn on mipmapping option, save the project and then open .pte project file in a text editor. Find this text line in a section of necessary object: MipLevels=1 Add the additional line: MipLodBias=0 Float values. 0 - no change. Standard mipmapping. -0.5 - picture more sharp -1 - picture more sharp 1 - picture more blurred 0.5 - picture more blurred I recommend try -0.5 which give best result (no moire and almost sharp).

Gary, I'm glad! I just discovered same complaints for combination Firefox + AutocompletePro + Invision Forum from other users in Google. Also this addon is not longer available on Mozilla website (https://addons.mozilla.org) So we can write to Invision, but they may respond - the problem in the addon.

Gary, Before I write to Invision support, please could you perform several experiments? Do you see this problem (black box): 1) in your Firefox after you logged out from our member account? 2) in Internet Explorer? 3) in Portable Firefox 3.6.x, please download it here and install to a new separate folder: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable (It will *not* damage to your main installed Firefox. After the test, just delete this folder) 4) If the forum works fine in Portable Firefox, try to temporarily disable all 3rd party extensions installed in you main Firefox version, that way we'll find the reason of this conflict.
