Xaver, Please could you send me source file of the project with multiple audio tracks which caused Access violation error? Thanks in advance!
-
Ray, Indeed this problem should not occur even if you use Aero theme in Windows 7. Probably it's a bug in Windows or in PicturesToExe. What version of PicturesToExe do you use? Is it possible to reproduce this crashing if you dragging slides in Slide list mode? For example move first slide to a position between third and fifth slides.

Eric, Current version of PicturesToExe and VideoBuilder will accept old and new keys. Even mixed variant (old Standard license key in a file for PicturesToExe and new key as text for the Upgrade to Deluxe features). When PicturesToExe or VideoBuilder asks for a license key, just add a key which you have (in file or as text).
-
For New Customers: Since today we will send new license keys in text format to new customers. The key will be included as a text into email. No attached files anymore. It should solve an issue with blocked emails due to an attached file. You need to use latest version PicturesToExe Deluxe 6.5.2 to load a new license key. For Existing Customers: No need to change your old license key. Current version of PicturesToExe (and future versions) will accept both kinds of license keys. Example of Email With New License Key: (Please don't use this key, because it's an abstract key)

Thanks, Ray! I've recently received your DVD. I'll send you email after I come back from my trip to the UK.

I'll have a trip to the United Kingdom from September 7th to 26th to visit Audio & Visual festival in Cirencester. I plan to tell about future of PicturesToExe and our developments. For more details please read here: http://www.ibateman.co.uk/rps/ http://www.rps.org/region/western/events/view/1603/ P.S. I apologize in advance for possible delays with my replies during this time.

Geoff, Thanks! We've found reason of this problem. Facebook allows to upload video with duration not more than 2 minutes. And up to 20 minutes for members who confirmed their accounts by SMS. It's strange that Facebook doesn't show this warning when we upload video through their API from a program. We'll add this warning the next update.
-
Geoff, You need to log in on Facebook to watch uploaded video.

Ron, Version 6.5.2 is a minor update. All minor updates (6.5.1, 6.5.2, 6.5.3, etc) use same common settings. For this reason it didn't ask you import settings. It just overwrites previous version 6.5.0 or 6.5.1. I've disabled this option several versions ago. But you can turn it back. See the main menu | View | Advanced options.

The program has truncated last half of second of an audio clip. * Fixed issue of (v6.5.0) when the main timeline couldn't display a waveform. + Updated support of Italian language.

Hello Eric, We've fixed this issue with the waveform. It happened with WMA and OGG audio files only. The mistake was obvious when we finally found this place in the program. Please try updated version 6.5.1 pre-release: http://www.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.zip

Thanks for your patience! I just sent you email with your license key for PicturesToExe Deluxe.
-
Roel, Please let me know - did you try to run the special test program I've prepared for you? The true reason of this problem still unknown for me - the described behaviour says that it was a Windows Vista's bug.
-
I apologize for this delay! The most likely the emails with attached keys were blocked by mail server. Please let me know your Order ID or full name to send you registration keys. P.S. Now we're reworking our license keys to include them as a text into email without any attached files. This should solve similar issus.
-
Roel, Thanks for the screenshots! 1) Please download this special test application: http://www.wnsoft.com/test/OpenDialog_Test.zip (350 KB) Run it, click a buttonm, choose those audio files. Will it freeze? 2) Did you try to add MP3 audio files instead of WMA? Probably the problem caused by particular WMA audio files? 3) If it possible, please send me a sample WMA audio file which caused hungs in PicturesToExe.
-
Roel, I'd like to specify certain points: 1) Did you try add music in Project options or in the properties of a particular slide? 2) The freezing happens right after you open Project options window and click "Add track" button before you then click "Add music" button? It's a very important point which will help me better understand what happens in the program. 3) What exactly happens after you clicked "Add music" button? Do you see an appeared window to browse audio files? The freezing happens after you've choosed one or more audio files and pressed Open button? Thanks
