  1. Well done (as usual) Lin. Didn't recall those two lambs having been in Star Wars or Star Trek, but they sure have starred in a good many AV shows !!
  2. Nicely done Lin (Didn't know there were polar bears down south ) Best of the season to you Jim
  3. Neat Lin Though I don't recommend the insomniac nights.....
  4. Well done Lin 10 minutes eh.... ?? You da master ☺☺☺
  5. Very nice Maureen (as always ) Nice music, nice length, great pics and sequencing Looks like they had the paint brushes busy before you got there as the buildings looked very fresh. We were there (by cruise boat as well) in May and while they were nicely painted it wasn't as fresh as your images show. We had clouds down over the hill top until just into the afternoon. The donkey ride to the top was fun, but I felt bad for the donkeys standing out there in the sun all day. Thanks for the memories.
  6. Haven't been to the UK for too many years. I loved the Lake District when I was there, didn't do much of the Yorkshire Dales (can't do it all unless you are living there I guess !) All my pics are on something called "slide film" ☺☺ and they don't do justice to what digital is capable of. Gotta go back someday, sooner than later....
  7. Very nicely done (as usual) Maureen ! The music was well chosen. The light you chose to shoot in was very nice. What area were you shooting in? Thanks for posting.
  8. Pretty amazing Lin (to say the least) (I've been away so pardon the delayed compliments) It downloaded quickly and ran without hesitation (unlike some other downloads we had before)
  9. OK got it this time Lin I don't understand how you do all those manipulations, but the fact you do them and do them well is enough for me. Thanks Jim
  10. Sorry Lin, still no joy No videos showing
  11. Moturn, I guess mine was more "Stop motion", a very rudimentary one.
  12. Tom: "way back when" (PTE ver 3?) I did make a "time lapse" of sorts a very rudimentary one of Bumble Bees in tune to the Flight of the Bumble Bees. I used very small files (about 50kb) , 275 in one minute. PTE barely coped with it, but it did run. I expect PTE 8 is somewhat more robust !
  13. Way to find it Morturn. I loaded a video and looked for the option, but the link you gave certainly works. Thanks The maximum number of layers seems to be 8,000 (but it's not recommended... https://forums.adobe.com/thread/891804?tstart=0
  14. Dave: I use PS CS6 (non-cloud version) I haven't used it for video editing, but I checked for the "Extract...". I didn't see it, but that doesn't mean it isn't there I agree that might be a good option, if it exists, if you only have a dSLR with a shutter and didn't want to kill your shutter. I like Lin's suggestion of using a camera with an electronic shutter for the TL. (On the other hand, it does seem strange to shoot a video, extract individual frames, insert them into a new video. But if the TL effect is what one wants, then....) This an interesting thread that has taken on a life of its own !!!! Betcha MOTURN never thought this would happen....
  15. Thanks. Now I have a better feel for the process.
  16. Very well done. How's your shutter on the 7D ? (There is a new Mark II 7D due to be released in August so the rumours say). I did a show way "back when" using PTE ver 3(?) with 275 images over a one minute time span. PTE could barely handle it and I used 400x600 pixel images. At times it couldn't handle it. I loved the tilt-shift (?) lens approach you used to make one sequence look like a model. Did you do that in one of the Adobe products? What did you use Premier Pro and After affects for ? Not sure how you managed to zoom in during one sequence. VERY NICE !!! PS: How did you get the copyrighted music (I assume it was) accepted by YOU TUBE? I know you lucky people in the UK had an arrangement to use copyrighted music for your AVs at a very nominal fee. We couldn't get anything like here in the colonies. I have had YOU TUBE balk when I used royalty free music. (in fact the composer himself was given a hard time when he used his own music on YOU TUBE)
  17. JudyKay: Thanks for reminding me about adblocker. I use FIREFOX 90% of the time. I "installed" AD BLOCKER and it did block all the distractions with MEDIAFIRE. Thanks for the show Ray
  18. raybridges: Good to see another show posted for "public" viewing. I have had too many issues using mediafire in the past that I won't go there anymore. Any chance you could put it up on "SLIDESHOW CLUB" ??
  19. Hypnotizing at the start. Nice art work Nicely produced presentation as well - how you do these I don't know, but keep 'em up Music was well chosen PS: the downloading of the files just flew, unlike other times
  20. Thanks for the explanations Peter Oh I'll come kicking and screaming into the 21st century..... I have to try to keep up with my grandkids after all
