Add link to a Demo of the first four Custom Transitions on the same Slide. DG

Presumably you are using PTE VideoBuilder for the whole process? At the end of the VideoBuilder pages there are options for a variety of outputs one of which is an ISO file. Untick everything else and create an ISO - note its location on your PC. Locate it and double click on it - if you have software capable of burning it, it SHOULD open it automatically. If that doesn't work come back with more info about how you are trying to Burn the DVD. DG

A series of Custom Transitions based on the work of Jean-Pierre Dollangere. All are built at a 16:9 Aspect Ratio. The Custom Transitions: J-PD01-03a.zip J-PD04-13.zip J-PD16-37.zip Updated Demo J-PD01-53: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70942558/J-PD.zip DG

Hi Colin, When you click on "Prt Sc" it copies the whole screen to the clipboard so that "File/New" will be Screen Resolution. If you click on the "Restore Down" button to create a smaller window you can drag the window size to whatever proportions you need. If you then use "Alt+Prt Sc" you can just copy the Reduced Size Window. File / New will then be the resolution of Reduced Sized clipboard copy of the Window. DG

Positioning a video at a given key frame time

Claudio, Could you post a single slide Backup In Zip or mail one to me??? DG -
Could I remind everyone that the SEARCH facility now has two options - English and Italian. Please be sure to use the appropriate Language from the Dropdown Menu. Potrei ricordare a tutti che la funzione di ricerca ha ora due opzioni - inglese e italiano. Si prega di assicurarsi di utilizzare la lingua appropriata dal menu a discesa. DG

Hi Colin, If it works exactly the same then the New File Dimensions will be set by the Clipboard unless you need to alter them for some reason?? DG

Positioning a video at a given key frame time

Thanks for the clarification Claudio. That method has been mentioned before. I wish I could remember who posted it - probably Lin. Thanks again, DG -
I'm completely OK with the Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C method - I have no gripes with it now that I know. But in another dimension this would be termed a "workaround" because in two other forums that I participate in the swipe from left to right works - in this forum it doesn't. I'll drop it because Igor has provided a means of doing it which broadly fits my normal workflow. DG

Claudio, Could you write a step-by-step description of what you need to do to create the Mask? I am sure that many here would like to try this, including myself?? Please?? DG -
Igor, Can I ask you to check: When the Share Post window appears I can also swipe and copy, BUT, I can only copy what I can see - there is another section of the Link "hidden" and the swipe will not access it. That Is why I asked if you can paste it AND try it to prove that it works. The complete link for #11 is: .............picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/17596-forum-issue-with-copy-post-url/?p=117002 But I can only see .............picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/17596-fo Unless I use Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C I do not get the whole link? DG

OK - I have F 28.0. http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/17596-forum-issue-with-copy-post-url/?p=117000 That works - it is the Ctrl+A that is necessary!! But that is not how it usually works - normally you can swipe from the beginning to the end without having to use Ctrl+A. Thanks Igor, DG DG

Offset the Video???? O&A / Properties of the Video / Offset DG -
OK Peter, But if you Left Click on the same position which is, I assume, the correct procedure, are you then able to copy the WHOLE Link and paste it and prove that it works? DG

No, same problem. Firefox. I want to stay with Firefox DG

Igor, That's what I am doing but I can only highlight what is visible. I have found a method that works but it is not "intuitive". Put cursor in the visible section - The visible section is highlighted Use Right Arrow to scroll the link to the right hand side Put cursor on the extreme end of the link and "swipe" back to "http......" That works. DG

When trying to copy a link to a specific post in a thread I find it impossible to "swipe" the whole url. I click on the post number and the box appears with only part of the whole url visible. I am only able to highlight what is visible, the rest being lost. I have tried right clicking and choosing copy bur that just copies the visible url. Is there a technique involved in being able to copy the whole url? DG

Article on MENU - Hints and Tips - added. Additions to "Executable File Size". DG

Just a quick question. What would happen if you took the Menu and related shows to a pc with just one monitor/projector. Would it ignore the display 2 command or "crash"? DG

The results of this Bridgend 5 to 8 Photo Harmony Competition were announced today and are appended below. The event draws a large number of entries from a wordwide AV community and gets bigger every year. This year around 84% of the entries were produced in PicturesToExe and included the Winner, both Runners Up and a Highly Commended. Some of you might recognize IAN BATEMAN's name in the HIGHLY COMMENDED section? Bridgend 2014 5 to 8 Competition Results The results of the 2014 5 to 8 Competition for PhotoHarmony digital AV sequences are as follows: Winner – Wantage Camera Club – One Day Like This Runner-up – Malcolm Imhoff – On Higher Ground Runner-up – Adri van Oudheusden – One Fine Day (South Africa) Highly Commended – Ian Bateman – Catalunyan Morning Highly Commended – Nellian Bekker – Fantasie d’Eau (South Africa) This year’s winning sequence was a joint entry by members of Wantage Camera Club; I hope this will encourage other clubs to consider entering. The winning entry will shortly be available to view on the Bridgend CC website. Our Judges this year, Edgar Gibbs FRPS MPAGB AV-AFIAP and Linda Gibbs MPAGB AV-AFIAP, provided expert critique of all the sequences and helped make the evening very stimulating and enjoyable. Edgar and Linda commented that the standard was very high and the final results were very close. Bridgend CC would like to thank them for all their hard work. The presence of visitors from other clubs and the South Wales RPS AV group was much appreciated. A DVD of sequences and the judge’s critique will be sent to clubs via the WPF portfolio service. Bridgend CC hopes that other clubs will find this entertaining and with the Judges comments enclosed an informative disc. Details of the 2015 competition will be on the Bridgend CC website in the near future, If anyone has any queries about this competition please contact us at: 5to8@bridgendcameraclub.co.uk http://www.bridgendcameraclub.co.uk/5to8Comp.html The Rules for this Comp are at the address given and if you intend to enter next year there's no time like the present to get started.
