  1. Post a single image which shows the problem in PTE. Max size 3Mb. Use Full Editor to select the file. DG
  2. If you are trying to play the mp4 file from a memory key plugged into the usb input on the hdtv then the media player in the tv is used. Explain how you are doing this? DG
  3. Tom, Thanks for taking the time to confirm what I think. Unless someone else comes up with an answer it looks to be "impossible"? Pity, it would complete the "trilogy" of Fit to slide Cover slide Original size Dg
  4. Hi Tom, Sorry, at this end it is turning a 2100x1500 image into a 2133.333x1523.81 image and the Original Mode shows 101.587 (Zoom Value 208.333). I suspect that your style is trying to apply YOUR original image res to my Image. Explain how you set up the image prior to making the style? What Did you try to apply it to multiple images of differing resolutions in multiples slides? ......and are you using 8.0.4? DG
  5. I have been trying to create a Style which will convert main images of different resolutions in multiple slides to "Actual Pixels". There seems to be no way of doing this. I add an image to the slide list. I set Original Mode in Size/Position.... etc I click on Size and get the 100% (probably based on the original resolution) I create the style and apply it to multiple slides containing images of a different resolutions The style applies the resolution of the original image to the new slide/images Has anyone got a methodology for doing this? To prevent misunderstanding can you support your proposal with a style? DG

  7. I have just been trying MP4 on my new(ish) Kindle Fire using GoodPlayer. I get a warning every time I open the file that MP4's of <2Gb will not play, even though the file is only 200Mb. They eventually play very well!! Nothing to do with ISO files but interesting. DG
  8. Peter, I got Confused. DG
  9. Having a thorough knowledge of Aspect Ratio also helps? 4x3 AR = 4 squares by 3 squares 3x2 AR = 3 squares by 2 squares 5x4 AR = 5 squares by 4 squares Etc ....and multiples thereof....... DG
  10. 16x9 32x18 64x36 Etc
  11. Thanks Denis, As I said once before, this is a technical exercise for me. We gain more by working things out for ourselves than by blindly using the work of others. Hence my statement that "Knowing how it is done is more important than the end result". A single mask container would work not here, because of the relative motion of the four segments of the Image 1. I invite the user to analyse rather than use the transition. DG P.S. It is worth downloading both of these CT's and trying them. They appear on the face of it to achieve the same thing, but on closer inspection they are are not the same. The two methodologies are totally different in concept and wheras Denis's triangular masks operate on a static Image 1, I have made the four segments of Image 1 open much like the original Barn Doors. Look carefully and analyse.
  12. Another vote for AD BLOCKER, but I still don't go anywhere near MediaFire. DG
  13. A Custom Transition / 3D Animation Study: Triangle Gates.zip Suitable for 16:9 Projects. Understanding how it is done is more important than the end product itself. Lovingly created with TTT. DG

  15. You can add the Mouse .png in two different ways in O&A. 1. Right click in the Objects Panel on the right and "Add/Image" OR 2. Use the Add Image Icon - top left.
  16. In Objects and Animations (O&A): 1. Add the png and place it off screen in the first Keyframe (KF) on the left hand side of the O&A Timeline. 2. Right click on the said first KF and Clone it. 3 Drag along the O&A Timeline until you have the correct position - or use the KF Time to place it precisely 4. Drag the png to the position that you want it at the second (new) KF. 5. If you want it to linger at that point Clone the second KF and place it at the correct time 6. Clone the third KF and place it at the end of the O&A Timeline. 7 Drag the png to where you want it to be on the left. 8 The speed of the movement will depend on the duration of the slide and the duration between the KF. 17. Hi Ray, The Online Help "Project Options / Audio Tab" has been updated. Thanks, DG
  18. Ray, If you use this feature only the portion of the audio files used in the project are converted to the mp3 file. You can also use the raw wav files in your project and reduce them to mp3 using this feature. The result is a reduction in the size of the exe file. I will check the online help. Thanks for the info. DG
  19. I still think that you are mixing up a Track with an Audio Clip. You don't fit the Slides to the Clip length - you fit them to the Track length. If you want to fit them to the Clip Length then you use "Arrange Selected Slides". You create a track by inserting a Clip of a certain length and then replace it with one of a different length. You now want the Track length to be adjusted to suit the Clip Length. This can easily be done Manually either in the Project Options Tab or in the Timeline - THEN if you use the Fit To Track option it does what you ask it to do. By adjusting the Track Length to suit the Clip Length (automatically) you would "possibly" create other problems. Just putting another point of view since no one has yet chimed in with an opinion? The "Fit to Track" function is working correctly - it is the adjustment of the Track due to the change of Audio Clip Duration which is causing the problem. DG
  20. At the risk of this being branded a "workaround"........ In the Customize interface you are given the Original Duration (of the replacement Audio File). If you set the New Duration to equal this (manually) it will do what you want. Imagine that you are replacing a clip in the middle of a track which has three or more clips and the slides have already been set to the original track duration. If it did what you are wanting it to do that would also mess up your timings - no? DG
  21. John, If their MACs are not Intel equipped I think that I am right in saying that the MPEG4 Video option is still open to you. File size is bigger but you could possibly consider a (Data) Disc via Snail Mail. Another option is to upload a Video to YouTube and send them a link. DG
  22. We PC users are all pretty much in the same boat in that we cannot test any slideshows that we produce in MAC format. However, do your son and daughter both have Intel Macs? That's about the depth of my knowledge on this issue - they must have Intel Macs. (I think??). DG
  23. Videos available in posts #1 and #7 but no link in post #15 (I think that we are meant to re-construct it from the info given ). Firefox. DG
