  1. Only to standardise your image sizes, don't use portrait format and use a matte. DG
  2. Gary, It would help if you told us why told us why you are using 86% of main image? Two things come to mind: A 1920x1080 "matte" with the 86% cut out of the middle and saved as a png. Place this on top of every slide. Put the border/stroke line on the inside of the matte. If you are doing this to produce an mp4 or DVD for your tv then you can add blank black image to each slide and make it the main image. All other objects are children of this and at the end use the 86%. Everything is then reduce by the correct amount. DG
  3. No one is going to complain about that!! Well done Igor and team. DG
  4. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/hotkeys/main#timeline DG
  5. Hi Peter, Read Ken's post again? DG It is now fixed Ken.
  6. Forgive me Jose, my suggestion was more hypothesis than known facts. My idea of a large Template would be less than one gb and I have never tried anything on the scale that you are trying. I am glad that Templates work for you - they have always worked for me. DG
  7. Can you upload to DropBox - it is free - and then post a link here? DG
  8. Jenclodo, Post it as a Template or Backup in Zip. Someone else can try to make the MP4 to prove if it is your system?? I have no problems making MP4 at Prests. DG
  9. Jose, I have always assumed that the Template is written (immediately) to the Clipboard and then written to the Target Folder in my Templates Folder. I have never had a problem - even with large Templates. The test would be to hit the "Create Template" (Ctrl+T) and then immediately close the programme. If you lose any information you would know that caution is required in this process. Presumably you will will have saved the Project before hitting Ctrl+T. DG
  10. Hi Jeb, Old fashioned appears to be good? If you are in Timeline view and place the cursor over the Timeline, then use the mouse wheel it works as described. Perhaps a word to Igor? Wacom users also get problems. Sorry, I wasn't aware of your affliction:) DG
  11. Snapcam, It was not to do with timing of music but you are on the right lines. Was it (perhaps) the length of a reel of movie film (8mm)?? The thing is - if your AV is longer than 3m21s and you can't cut it down, don't enter it in a 321 competition - enter it into a different competition All competitions have rules - they are not made up to annoy people - they made to attempt to "level the playing field". DG
  12. Copy and Paste Key Frames between Objects? DG
  13. Stu I have also mentioned in the Online Help File: Shift+Click for Contiguous Slides Ctrl+Click for Non-Contiguous Slides. DG
  14. Or Control and Mouse Wheel? http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/hotkeys/main#timeline DG
  15. I have updated the Online Help File - Copy Slides Between Projects - in line with the information in this thread. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/copy_slides DG
  16. Igor, Please clarify: At present time we have tick boxes for "Scale Keyframes in Objects..." in two places - Preferences and Slide Options. Do you propose to remove BOTH tick boxes? DG
  17. Igor, I frequently use animation between A and C (as well as A-D) and would sometimes want to scale A - C. Can you comment on this? DG
  18. Make the ISO file first and then, if successful, use that to try to burn the DVD. The ISO can be played in the latest version of Media Player Classic - Home Cinema. DG
  19. Agreed, but I think that if it were a "safe" zipped file then it becomes even more important to sort out. Just a thought. DG
  20. Template does exactly the same job without zipping it. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/templates I don't know if the same file size restriction applies - I don't think so? Try it? DG
  21. No but if you output an mp4 from a project that can then be added as a video? DG
  22. Give details of project? How many slides? Mp3 or wav audio? Have you tried 6 slides with short piece of audio? Are you using the mp4 presets? DG
  23. Zipped PTE EXE? Or "Safe Executable for Internet"? DG
  24. Yes Turn KFSD (Keep Full Slide Duration) off for the video slides and ensure that the video ends before the next slide begins I.e. do not overlap. DG
