  1. All the time - since day 1. Just search on "adding the audio of a video clip" (with quotes). http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/addvid2?s[]=mute#adding_the_audio_of_a_video_clip_to_an_audio_track DG
  2. From the Online Help File: Adding the Audio of a Video Clip to an Audio Track The Audio of a Video Clip can be added to an Audio Track and the Envelope can then be applied to it. Add the Video Clip and then, in Objects and Animation/Properties Tab, Mute the Audio of the Video Clip..............DG
  3. A Template dressed up as a Style. Morphing or animating the change between one geometrically shaped mask and another. In this case from a Pentagonally Shaped Mask to a Hexagonally Shaped Mask and then from the Hexagon to an Octagonally Shaped Mask. Add a single Image to the Slide List. Import and Apply the Style to the Single Slide. Five slides are created. In O&A you can analyse the method. Note that some adjustment of your chosen image might be required to fill the masks. Style: MORPH.ptestyle Demo: Morph.zip Slide Styles: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/slide-styles/main DG
  4. All (?) software packages give a warning when you are about to over-write a file. In this case, PTE does not give a warning when you are about to over-write a file. Therefore I am assuming that it is a BUG until told differently by Igor. I am also assuming that, although it was well publicised, Igor failed to pick it up OR is unable to do anything about it. I await his response. The Online Help File is there to tell you about the software and not about how to circumvent its Bugs? DG P.S. My comments in Post #7 were designed to help Igor understand the problem a little better. That's why I started the post with "Igor,............."
  5. Igor, P.S. What you do not get when you convert the original file multiple times is a warning that you are about to over-write the last/previous conversion. DG
  6. Igor, If you convert a file with the name: DSC0025.converted.avi ...its name becomes: DSC0025.converted.converted.avi If you start from DSC0025.avi and do a second conversion then it is your responsibility to rename: DSC0025a.converted.avi. You do this by clicking on the dropdown to the right and renaming there, thus avoiding the over-write. This was well documented some time ago. DG
  7. Igor, I agree with Peter. It is not a huge bug, but it is nevertheless a bug. DG
  8. Tom, Most modern Upscaling DVD Players are a step up from their older counterparts. I am currently using a Sony BluRay Player and that allows me to use (standard) DVDs and MP4 (etc) Video all in one neat package. The quality is definitely way ahead of my earlier players. DG
  9. Diaschau, http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/project-options/audio-tab DG
  10. In addition to Barry's advice see: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/videobuilder/main http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/dvdproject DG
  11. Peter, If I do the contiguous selection in "reverse order" - slide 5 first and Shift Click on Slide 2 - then it works as you would expect. The highlighted slide shows in the Mini Player. Doing it the way you suggest causes the highlighted slide and the displayed slide to be different (not always the same slide is shown). DG P.S. Same W7 Premium 64 Bit
  12. Main menu / Settings / Preferences / Toolbars. I do not think that anything there will prevent a drag and drop action?? If you cannot drag and drop right click on files and choose "add to slide list". DG
  13. Update. J-PD38-53 Custom Transitions: J-PD38-53.zip Demo J-PD38-53: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70942558/J-PD.zip DG
  14. This thread is 11 years old? In the Current Version go to Project Options / Advanced and click on "Disable Prt Sc Key on PC". P.S. Remove your e-mail address from this post??????? DG
  15. Hi Laurence, Wnsoft made a statement about this in the forum before the release of version 8 explaining the reasons behind the change of policy. I am sorry that I could not find it at short notice but I am pretty sure that if Ken sees this he will point you to it. DG
  16. Laurence, Have you bought a new (upgrade) license for Version 8? Previous licences will not allow you to upgrade to V8 from a Previous version. http://www.wnsoft.com/picturestoexe/buy/ DG
  17. Tom, I reckon mine will last another ten years or so - no problem. It has never been connected to the Internet - never updated and it's just as good as new. DG
  18. Until someone more authoritative comes along (I am NOT a Mac person): Try loading the Version 8 PTE in VMware and when asked for a serial number point it toward the Download Folder and the Zip File. Added: Try to do the extraction from within the Windows environment? DG
  19. Go here: http://www.wnsoft.com/support/ Submit a ticket giving all of the information about your original purchase. Also see this thread: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/10505-index-to-faqs/ DG
  20. I have added J-PD16-37 Custom Transitions and updated the Demo Exe. DG
  21. You could TRY a modified version of the following? Copy the OBJECT and paste it to the same parent - order the pasted version directly above or below the original. In the PASTED version, type Ctrl+E to Shift all Key Frames to the Right by the appropriate amount. Add Key Frames to both the original and pasted versions to Fade the Original out and Fade the Pasted version in making sure that the KF in both versions coincide. The Object should then seamlessly repeat the animation. Repeat this as many times as required. I have assumed that the Object is in the same position before and after the animation? DG P.S Key POINTS refers to Audio. Key FRAMES refers to Images
  22. Object and animation editor? DG
  23. The Custom Transitions J-PD04-13 have been added to Post #1. A link has also been added to the New Demo J-PD01-13. All Custom Transitions have been constructed at 16:9 AR. Some are not suitable for other AR. DG

  25. Apologies to everyone. The correct ZIP Folder has now replaced the one with the missing masks. DG
