  1. I remember it Now!! It is amazing that he was doing all of this in V5!! I think that you must be refering to the portraits?? That was J-P D's special magic. I have a collection of his masks - if you are interested I will make them available to you? DG
  2. In that case I suspect that some Masks and/or Animation were used. J-P D was the Master! I will take a look - I don't remember that one. DG
  3. Hi Claudio, I probably misunderstood your intention. You can only have Curling Page on the WHOLE SLIDE (I think). The only option you have after that is Fade in and fade out via Key Frames. DG
  4. Make the Slide a Quick Transition and add Key Frames to the individual Objects to Fade in the ones you want Faded - leave the others alone. Alternatively, put a black image over the ones that you want faded in (in the Objects Pane). Put the ones that you don't want faded above the Black Image. Change the Opacity of the Black Image from 100% to Zero with Key Frames. DG
  5. Turn KFSD on Add Video Slide(s) Turn KFSD off The slides which were added in the KFSD mode will remain that way during the project unless turned off in Slide Options. My "personal preference" is to leave KFSD on at all times but please don't tell anyone - it upsets some people! DG
  6. Terry, By removing the Transitions you are making the Slide Duration = Full Slide Duration. That is why I asked in post #2 about FSD. Having an overlap as per post #7 would obviate the need for "hiding" the start and finish of the video (depending on the nature of the video). DG
  7. You presume wrong. There is plenty of info in the Help File. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/keep KFSD in Settings / Preferences / Project only applies to NEW SLIDES. DG
  8. OR, You could set KFSD in Settings, Preferences, Project before dragging the clip into the File List (three times) and let V8 do it all for you - automatically? DG
  9. If you loop the slide does that not do what you want? Alternatively, you could add the video multiple times and set the offset on each so that they appear to loop. Overlaying the Video and using Key Frames to fade in and out would add to the illusion. You didn't explain if the video duration equals the Full Slide Duration or is shorter? DG
  10. Hi Lin, As we discussed in our PM, if this situation arises my solution would be to use hidden slides at the end of the "normal running time" of the show and place the video in a Hidden Slide with "Do not include file in Exe" Ticked. You can link to the Hidden Slide via Button or "Hot Spot" and use either another Button or Hot Spot to return to the original slide (or the one after it). Keeping it all in ONE SHOW has distinct advantages. DG
  11. It is in the Online Help File. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/objects-and-animation/properties_tab#for_video However, a longer description was needed. DG
  12. I tried a little experiment with this feature. It is possible, when adding video to a project, to exceed the 2Gb limit for EXE files. So, I ticked the "Do not include file to EXE" box for the Video and Published a Safe Executable for PC to a Memory Key. The result of this is a very small EXE File size. However trying to play this on a different PC resulted in a "File Not Found" error. I then extracted the Folder containing the EXE and the ptshow file from the ZIPPED Folder on the original PC and added the Video File to that folder. This time, when the Memory Key was used on a different PC, the Video File was accessed from the Project Folder on the Key with no problems. The result is a small EXE File which did not exceed the 2Gb limit. DG P.S. Most of you will already know this - it is the first time that I have actually tried it.
  13. Lin, Your Mail Box is full. DG
  14. This method only needs one frame: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/3dobjects#assembly Claudio, We can see the result of the problem but that will not tell us what is causing it. Can you post a BIZ? DG
  15. Claudio can you post a single slide Backup In Zip where this problem occurs?? DG
  16. A couple of ways: A frame which is added in PTE is a Zero Opacity Rectangle. You could add a Coloured Rectangle in O&A instead of a Frame? OR....... In your Image Editor make a Transparent Image with a small (3 pixel) Stroke Line - save as a PNG File to your Project Folder. The Opacity of the PNG can then be made Zero when you no longer need the line. DG
  17. Added a downloadable Pack of Objects to the "Solid 3D Objects" How To. DG
  18. Gary, If you do the Prt Sc when in full screen preview you get a full screen res jpeg using your image editor. DG
  19. Press "Prt Sc" key on Keyboard.(top Right Hand Side). This puts a copy of the screen on the Clipboard. Paste the Clipboard into a New File in your image editor. DG
  20. Run Preview Pause Show Print Screen? Open Image Editor New File Paste DG
  21. New article - "Solid 3D Objects" added to Techniques section. DG
  22. Thanks for persevering guys! My new ADBLOCK in Firefox COMPLETELY blocks MediaFire and that, to me, is just great. I will now d/l and enjoy. DG
  23. Claudio, You have to work on the opacity of the individual elements. OR............... You could put the whole 3D object inside of a MASK and use the mask to control the Opacity. See: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/inheritance DG P.S. Lin and I were posting at the same time.
  24. New article - "Keep Full Slide Duration" added to Techniques section. DG
