Igor Posted Wednesday at 02:34 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:34 PM Hi, In PTE AV Studio 12 (Beta 15+) we've added a new "Blending" mode to the Mask container with support for 9 blend operations: Linear Dodge (Add), Subtract, Multiply, Screen, Lighten, Darken, Overlay, Hard Light, and Soft Light. To use: place the first image into the Stencil, and the second image into the Content of the Mask container. You can add video, text object, rectangle object, or multiple objects (several images, for example). Watch a video example. Click the play button: BlendMode.mp4 BlendMode.zip 6 Quote

jkb Posted Wednesday at 10:52 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:52 PM I have now had a chance to play with Blend Modes. As I no longer use Photoshop & do all of my image editing within PTE, this opens up so many new creative possibilities. Thank you so much for this great new feature. PTE just gets better & better. digartal Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Than,ks Igor for including this. I started to experiment with this yesterday and it is very interesting. Using both with a still image and a video. Working out how the Stencil and the Content interact is diffidifficult, even though I use Masks in PS. Is there a way of changing the mask Blend Modes or do you need to create a new Mask for each Blend Mode? If not I am thinking of creating a template for each Blending Mode and trying the different modes with an image to get used to the effect. Thanks Mark Quote
