  1. Peter, Thanks, I confirm this bug! We'll try to fix it. I don't know how much time it will take, because this code is responsible for many commands and we need be careful with the solution.
  2. OK! I'll check up again tomorrow.
  3. Eric, I'll check up tomorrow.
  4. Peter, Can I mark this topic as solved?
  5. Barry, Thanks, I just fixed this problem, please try this test version: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/test/picturestoexe-setup-804-beta.exe It will become official v8.0.4 later, with other possible bug-fixes.
  6. Peter, Sorry, my mistake. It should be OK now.
  7. New section "Troubleshooting" is created. It's intended for bug-reports. Old sub-forums "PicturesToExe & Mac" and "Video Output" were deleted. All their posts were moved to the "General Discussion" and "Troubleshooting" sections.
  8. I reworked the structure of the forum today. Some sections were renamed and their order has been changed.

  11. We're reworking video output in future PicturesToExe now. Currently AVI video output suggests 3 options. By default, PicturesToExe creates AVI video file with MPEG-SP codec - no changes here. I have two questions regarding other modes: 1. Do you create Virtual AVI video file? This old function allows to tranfer video stream from PicturesToExe to an external video editing software for further processing/encoding. Can we remove it? 2. Do you create AVI video file with custom video/audio codecs installed in Windows? Can we remove it? P.S. The new video output will work more reliable, and this code will be used in Mac version in future. We'd like to discard old rarely used options which difficult to rewrite.
  12. Italian version of PicturesToExe Online Help is ready. See the announcement: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/17601-italian-picturestoexe-online-help/
  13. Hi, I'm happy to introduce Italian version of PicturesToExe Online Help: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/it/main I'm grateful to Carmelo Battaglia for the translation! All screenshots from English version were reworked to show Italian interface of PicturesToExe. Also Carmelo is the author of Italian interface of PicturesToExe. Great job! Let me remind you that PicturesToExe Online Help was written by Dave Gould, Jeff Evans, Lin Evans and Peter Appleton. 14. Dave, In Firefox 28 I observe the following: Sometimes Share Post window appears with a text box where text is already selected. So I can press Ctr+C. If text is not selected I can "swipe" with mouse cursor to selected the text link and then copy it. I see slight difference in behaviour of Share Post window between Chrome and Firefox. And we can not do anything with it. Because it's IPB engine.
  15. Dave, I just tested in Firefox 28. 1. I open "Share post" window. 2. Click into edit box with a link. 3. Press Ctrl+A 4. Press Ctrl+C or call the popup menu for Copy command. Now I can paste the link in a text editor or in my reply.
  16. Dave, Can you use the second method with copying link (#4)? What is your web browser?
  17. Hi Dave, It works correctly for me in Chrome. If I rightly understood your question. There are 2 ways to copy a link to a certain post. Please look here: Both ways work OK. If it still doesn't work, please try in another web browser. And let me know what browser you use by default.
  18. Dave, Yes, on a PC with one display, slideshow always starts on the main display. It will not appear on absent display.
  19. Hi Dave, Thank you for this information! We're very pleased.
  20. Thanks, Dave. for your work!
  21. Hi Mark, Hi Barry, I'm sorry about these difficulties! I see two typical problems: 1. The file is not completely uploaded. When you click the button "Click to Upload Files" you need to wait while the file is being uploaded. the progress bar on the right side will indicate that: When file is completely uploaded you'll see the following: Now you can click "Add Submission" button at the bottom of this page. 2. EXE files should be packed to a ZIP archive. If upload EXE file you'll see the following error: Note: New slideshows/AV shows don't appear automatically for visitors of the gallery. The moderator should check up new files and it usually takes 1-12 hours. If you doing everything correctly, but a problem will occur again in future, please let me know. For the Slideshowclub we use IPB 3.4.6 engine. New version IPB 4.0 is coming soon. Probably they will improve the uploading to make it more intuitive. I've read about improvements in this direction. P.S. I see that now you successfully uploaded your AV shows. Thank you!
  22. Gary, Please look on the attached screenshot. 'View New Content" in the new forum allows to do 3 things: 1. Go to last UNREAD post. 2. Go to the FIRST post. 3. Go to the LAST post. So you need to click a small "circle" link to see last unread post in necessary topic. I admit that it works differently than in previous version of the forum software, but we can't change it. We have to update the software to get the latest security patches. P.S. I think that developers of IPB forum software did it for consistency. Because when you click to a topic title in the usual mode (the list of topics) you always go to the first post. Same in "View New Content" now.
  23. Gary, I'll check up the work of the forum on Monday.
  24. Gary, See my reply here: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/17550-updating-of-the-forum-software-done/page-2#entry116637 That's all I discovered now. P.S. The new forum software v4.0 is coming soon.
  25. We moved our website www.wnsoft.com to a new fast server in Strasbourg, France. Updating of DNS records may take up to 3 days, but there will be no interruptions in the work of WnSoft website, because the old server will work several days together with the new server.
