  1. Daniel, Thanks for the sample project! I think that we reproduced this problem. It may happen with any audio clip (sound comment or not). This problem happens when an audio clip contains keypoints of the envelope which are located outside of customized duration. In this case sound is smoothly fading at the end. Normally this problem doesn't occur, because there is no sense to add keypoints of sound volume outside customized audio duration. You can fix this problem for your particular project. However we'll try to fix this problem in the next update(s). Thanks!
  2. Hans, Please let me know: 1. What you see on the screen when you click "Preview" button - the main window of PicturesToExe or black screen? 2. Try to create "Executable show for PC" (in Publish menu) and run the created EXE file. Do you see the launched slideshow? 3. What video card installed in your PC? 4. What antivirus installed at your PC?
  3. Vincent, Do you mean drag'n'drop in the Tree of objects? It will be implemented in future version 9.0.
  4. Hi Vincent, Please tell me in more details.
  5. Daniel, Please can you send me this project (with images and audio files)? Or create a new test project where we can observe this problem.
  6. Gary, The online help page doesn't require login. Visitors can read all articles. Login is required only for administrator and authors who write new articles for the online help.
  7. "Edit file" command works only for files in the File list. And this command is not available for audio clips in the Slide list or the Project options. PicturesToExe locks audio files added to the project. Because the program doesn't load entire audio file and read audio data by small portions during playback. You can only replace audio file. We think that audio editing can be performed within PicturesToExe.
  8. John, Thanks, please see my reply.
  9. Yes, the next version is 9.0
  10. We expect the new version in 4-5 months. There will be a lot of improvements in all PicturesToExe. The key feature - absolutely new Objects and Animation editor.
  11. Hello John, Please try another brand of DVD disc. I recommend Verbatim or TDK. Use DVD-R media. This problem may be related with quality of DVD media. If the problem still exists, try to burn a new DVD disc with another slideshow (one project, 1 or 2 minutes).
  12. Hello Aaron, Thank you for choosing PicturesToExe Deluxe 8! The upgrade to future PicturesToExe Deluxe 9 will be at cost $34.
  13. Lin, You raised a good question. Probably we should modify work with Transitions, like we did with Styles. We have a window with installed Styles and users can create or import new styles. What you think?
  14. Project name is linked with its file name.
  15. This transition shows an animation of 4 parts of a slide in 3D space. Zoom Out 3D.ptef
  16. Dave, Good idea! I agree.
  17. We published the official update - v8.0.11 with OpenType fonts support.
  18. jt, Thanks, we'll add a protection for this case in future version.
  19. I decided to wait a couple of weeks to make sure that OpenType fonts are supported correctly before publish official update.
  20. Hi Tom, We're working on PicturesToExe 9.0. Beta version should be ready in 2-3 months.
  21. Hi, If you have a license for any previous version of PicturesToExe you can purchase the upgrade to PicturesToExe Deluxe 8 wth the old price - $34.
  22. Hi, Thanks, I'll send a report about false positive to developers of this software program.
  23. Hi, Please can you send me source files of this project? Or at least .pte project file in ZIP archive. If you send a whole project, please use Dropbox or Mediafire to upload ZIP archive.
