  1. Please try the updated test version: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/test/picturestoexe-setup-805-beta.exe Now when you select multiple slides and open the Slide Options window with Transition tab you'll see "Customize..." checkbox. You need to tick it to be able assign desired transition effect for all selected slides. For one slide nothing has changed. P.S. If everything is OK, I'll publish it as official 8.0.5 later.
  2. Lin, As I tested, Fit all slides to sound track always works correctly. The problem comes with Replace Audio File function. We had an internal discussion in WnSoft what to do with a duration for a replaced audio file. There are several possible scenarios when users need to replace an audio file: 1. Replacement of WAV to MP3 (same audio, both files has same duration). A. Customized duration equals to original duration. B. Customized duration SHORTER than original duration. 2. Replacement to a different audio file (with different original duration). If replace audio clip and reset the duration it will affect to position of next audio clips on same track. So we don't see simply solution.
  3. jt, Thanks, I must confirm that it's a bug in the Slide options window since version 7.5. In case of all other options if they are different for selected slides you'll see a special state of checkboxes (square check). We'll try to fix this problem in the update. P.S. It's strange that I didn't notice this problem earlier.
  4. Gary, Thanks, I expected this result. Also there is no difference when you install 8.0.4 over 8.0.4 or 8.0.4 over 8.0.3. So the problem seems to be tricky. Peter, Version 8 doesn't use folders of projects created in previous versions (7.0 and earlier).
  5. Gary, I did the following test: 1. I have installed PTE 8.0.4 2. There are several projects with selected folders in the File tree. 3. I re-installed PTE 8.0.4 4. All folders are remembered for each projects in the File tree.
  6. Gary, When you install the updated version (e.g. v8.0.4. over v8.0.3) does PTE remember other settings? Configuration of toolbars, size of file tree, slide list, etc? Dave, Thanks for testing! To show some specific combination of symbols correctly you need to turn off "Enable emoticons?" option in the Full Editor of your reply. Example: (Project
  7. Hi Jeff, Today we installed Norton Mobile Security to our Android smartphone and I was able to open Wnsoft.com website and this forum picturestoexe.com Please can you try today? If the problem still occur, please let me know exact text of the error message. Thanks,
  8. Gary, Dave, Please can you give me step by step instruction how I can reproduce this problem? I tried the following: 1. Run PTE 8. I see ProjectA with "MyFolder1" selected in the File list/tree. 2. I change another folder ("MyFolder2") in the File tree. 3. Close PTE 8. 4. Run PTE 8. 5. I see ProjectA with "MyFolder2" selected in the File list/tree. Everything is OK here. P.S. Please describe each step even minor actions.
  9. Hi, Please let me know: How much free space on drive C:\ ? If you have enough space, do you have quota limitation for disc space for your limited user account in Windows 7 ?
  10. OK, I'll check up on Monday!
  11. Maureen, Excellent AV! My congratulations!
  12. KeithImaging, I received your sample image fle (_LAN0493.jpg, 1024x563, ) - it works correctly in PicturesToExe 8 on my PC. 1. Please let me know about the result. Did you manage to solve that problem? 2. Does this problem occur with other image files? For example, with the attached test image: 2. What video card installed in your PC?
  13. Video tutorials for PicturesToExe 8: 1. Adding images 2. Adding music 3. Creating animation 4. Applying slide styles 5. Publishing your show These tutorials will be published on WnSoft website soon. Many thanks to Barry Beckham! His new video tutorials will help new users to learn more about PicturesToExe 8.
  14. Gary, Normally this problem should not occur when you install updated version 8.0.4 over 8.0.x. Since version 8.0 the information about selected folders for projects is stored in a special location: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\PicturesToExe\ProjectsExtraData\This problem might occur in two cases: A. if you uninstalled previous version 8.0.3 and there were no other installed versions of PicturesToExe. In this case the uninstaller removes all information related with settings of PicturesToExe. B. You moved project files to another locations.
  15. Hello, I apologize for this problem! Your order was processed successfully. Email with your license key and instruction should be sent to your email address immediately after purchasing. I just sent you a copy of that email.
  16. Hello Keith, I convert my JPEG image file in FastStone Viewer and it works correctly in PicturesToExe. Please can you send me two files - original image file and converted file which looks wrongly. You can upload file to Mediafire.com or Dropbox.com
  17. The next version will contain the completely new Objects and Animation editor. At this moment I can't say exactly what new functions it will include.

    Question

jt, Thanks, I've moved both articles to the archive.

    Question

Eric, (I moved your question from "PicturesToExe Online Help" topic to this new topic.) Several days ago I reorganized a structure of WnSoft forum. Some sections were combined into one section. Several sections were renamed. The new section "Troubleshooting" was created. "Frequently Asked Questions" section always was pre-moderated. Now I did same for "Tutorials & Articles" section. I moved many old articles from these both sections to a special archive here as you can see. This work is not finished yet, and I'll continue to review existing articles. I didn't watch your video tutorials earlier, and I reviewed them several days ago. I appreciate your time which you spent to create these tutorials, but I think that their level is not enough to be published in the new "Tutorials..." section. Sorry. Old Tutorials section has become a big old dump where it is difficult to find useful information among the old and new articles of different levels of quality. All new tutorials, especially video tutorials should be professionally created in all aspects. I want to control quality of new tutorials.
  20. Thanks for your responses!

  22. Ken, It's not related with the new structure of the forum. It happened when we updated the forum software to the latest version (IPB 3.4.6)
  23. Eric, In next or future versions we plan to rewrite video convertor and we'll rework this function.
  24. Hi, Do you like the new structure of the forum?
  25. Eric, I tested in PicturesToExe 8 and 7.5. In both versions the converted file contains word ".converted.avi". If you convert original video file again, PicturesToExe automatically replaces the previously converted file. No multiple words ".converted".
