  1. PTE recommends Media Player Classic - Home Cinema. If that doesn't do it, post one of your JPEGs? DG
  2. Instead of using the "Crop" feature use the "Canvas". Set it to % and take 7.5% off all around. Then set the ZOOM in the Animation Tab to 85% (for the sliding image) for both Key-frames. DG Gogs.ptestyle P.s. also, your method requires two main images to create the style and two images in the Slide List to re-create it. My example only uses the one main image. Is it something to do with the number of main images?
  3. What colour space are you using for your outputted JPEGs? DG
  4. http://www.wnsoft.com/archives/ DG
  5. As with images, no matter how many times you use a video file it is only counted once in the exe file size. When you add a video you can mute its sound in o&a and then add it as an audio file. It is still only counted once in the exe file size. It is not removed. It is muted. If you don't want to add the sound in order to use the PTE editing envelope then the video is just played without sound - you do not gain anything in terms of file size. DG
  6. Wideangle, I would agree with your proposal but on its own I don't think it goes far enough. In your example the "thin coloured border" style would overwrite the individual animations in your existing slides. To apply Styles "retrospectively" to almost complete projects, two new features need to be added. 1. Retain the original Full Slide Duration AND Transition Time - this can only be done presently on a slide by slide basis 2. The option to make the Style "Additive" or to "Replace Existing Animation/Style" DG
  7. Judy, On point 2: You know that you can apply the Audio of a Video file to an audio track and apply edits to it as per "ordinary" audio? Here Perhaps I misunderstood you? DG
  8. Curling of Page. Folding. Right to Left. Tick Colour of the "Back Side". DG
  9. Ray, PTE does not "trim the ends non-destructively". It starts playing at the point you designate and it stops playing when you tell it to. It does not save a trimmed version. The original file remains intact. In order to add silence in the midle of a file it must create a new version of the file. This might be possible in the near future. DG
  10. Reine, Can you give some details of the uploaded MP4? Youtube is offering your HD Video at 720, 1080 and 1440. What is the original resolution of the MP4? For 1080 HD I would expect that it would play with black lines top and bottom on a 16:10 monitor but it plays full screen. There are some minor problems during animations and transitions. When set to 1440 the minor problems become more serious. Why not try a standard 16:9 1080 version and see what that does for you? DG P.S. Your ICELAND show on Slideshowclub has the same title (Filename) as a previously uploaded Iceland show.
  11. Igor, Would it be too difficult to export to a wav file? DG
  12. Search Tip for Online Help: The Online Help Search (normally) works with searches of four (or more) letters. If you enter a word such as "Trim" all instances of the word "Trim" are returned but words containing "Trim" are ignored. To search for "Trimmed" or "Trimming" it is possible to use - Trim* (with the Asterix). The use of the asterix will allow the return of words CONTAINING "Trim". The use of the asterix before and after a word allows the search for even three letter words e.g. *rim* and will return "Trim", "Trimmed" and "Trimming". N.B. It will also return words such as "PRIMary" and "ExpeRIMent".
  13. Steven, Thanks for the comment on searching the Help File. Using this facility always depends on the search term used and in this case the word "trimming" had not been used anywhere in the Help File but if you had searched on "trim" you would have found it. I have added the phrase "Trimming Video" for future searches. DG
  14. ....and also Garamond Premier Fonts. DG
  15. Her second link above shows that she is in the Timeline. I will leave it to you. DG
  16. The second link shows the Timeline. You need to click on the Slide List View. The two buttons on the bottom right of the screen are for Slide List and Timeline. DG
  17. Check the slide in question in Objects and Animation - can you see an Object - "Text Comment"? (on the Right Hand Side)? If so right-click on it and "Remove". DG
  18. I have Garamond Pro Bold on my Laptop and it shows as an Open Type Font. Garamond shows in PTE 8 but not Garamond Pro. DG
  19. Have you tried a Complete Uninstall followed by a Re-Install? Have your Serial Number ready. DG
  20. Unless something has changed recently. I thought that's what was said a while back, but I believe that you might be right about certain fonts which show as TT but in reality are not (or vice versa). DG P.S. I do not have Garamond to try it. It could also be a "Unique Font" which PTE does not have rights to use?? A search turned up a number of references to this but nothing concrete. Another quick comparison shows that "all"(?) TT Fonts in other programmes are available in PTE but not all non-TT fonts are available e.g. Bell Gothic Standard (on my PC).
  21. PTE only recognises True Type Fonts. DG
  22. Thanks, Your original post was not clear about this. DG
  23. It sounds like he wants v8.0.9? Or the version 8.0.x that he was using prior to 8.0.10. I have heard reports that the latest Windows upgrade is doing exactly the same thing to some Topaz software. DG
  24. Yes Mur, It downloads OK. It would be better though, if you Zipped it before uploading and provided the Public Link to the Zipped File. DG
