  1. Bert, The "Four Arrow" Button starts the show from the Cursor Position. When you click on a slide in either the Slide List or the Timeline the Cursor is placed at the end of the Transition. DG
  2. Settings, preferences, toolbars. Tick all of the boxes. DG
  3. If your "Background" image (bg.jpg) is created specially for the job then It could include something like: WIDEANGLE PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS .......and maybe your photo etc........ DG
  4. Take a look at the "Templates" Folder in C/program files/wnsoft/8.0/VideoBuilder. That will give you a pointer in the right direction. In VideoBuilder: Tick the "Create Menu" box. In the Next Page, "Customize" an existing Template by adding your own Background Image in the Left Hand (Edit) section. Click on "Choose Template" and "Add a template" - Save in a suitable location with a suitable name and all of the components of the existing menu Template are saved with the renamed "bg.jpg" Background Image. It (the Template) then becomes a choice when you "Choose Template". An alternative method would be to "Add Template" first and then edit it by changing the Background etc. The Button Style is determined by the current chosen Template when the "Add Template" is pressed. Buttons can be created and saved in the "New Template" folder. They must be named "Play" etc and overwrite the existing Buttons. DG.
  5. Cedric, I tried your test (in 8.0.7). I confirm what you are seeing. DG
  6. Nice workaround. DG
  7. It is possible that by using separate tracks, PTE is better able to cope with Bite Rate anomalies. The ISO created with the original files works perfectly when assembled as per my original diagram. However the problem of the waveform being cut off (but still playing) persists. Taking the "Blue Danube" track into Soundbooth and saving as a 128kbps MP3 solved that problem and the complete waveform now shows. Once again the ISO plays perfectly. None of this is "good pratice" but serves to show that, as earlier posts suggest, having known and trusted sources for MP3 files and checking that they are all the same bit rates etc pays dividends. DG
  8. Peter, I had no intention of mis quoting you but careful examination of the contents of the zip indicates that some of the mp3 files are (might be) downloads and therefore the only option is to convert those to wav. Quality would eventually be compromised but surely what we are doing here is fault finding and any method used is valid? DG
  9. See post #41. This suggests that our earlier references to cbr vs vbr had some substance. I think that you should rebuild the audio tracks. Peter's suggestion of converting the tracks to wav would eliminate the vbr problem. DG
  10. But, presumably, the same codecs are being used for both the ISO and the DVD versions? My ISO version made from the modified project worked perfectly and saved the need to burn a DVD. DG
  11. Further info: To make sure that the file you have added to the VideoBuilder is the current working version: Right click on the file (1.New Version.pte) and choose File Info? DG
  12. Made an ISO with the changes I made - played perfectly as per the diagram above. This indicates that a DVD would do exactly the same thing - it is the same process. I can only suggest that you rebuild the soundtrack from scratch? DG
  13. I can now see why the duration of the "Blue Danube" track seemed to have a long silence after the waveform. The Duration Parameter had been extended to create extra silence. However, that did not account for the fact the the track appeared to play when the waveform was showing silence. DG
  14. Using the layout above the transition to and from the "Blue Danube" is perfect in an MP4. No, I haven't made a DVD . DG
  15. OK, This cured the problem of the "Blue Danube" over-run: DG
  16. You have made your show work with the vbr files. When you create the DVD the programme is converting them into cbr. That's a guess. So on the DVD - what you see is what you get. Convert all of the audio files to cbr, trim off the silence(s), re-adjust your fades and you should be ok. DG P.S. Change your mp3 setting in Cooledit to get a cbr output.
  17. I have downloaded the ZIP File. I have opened the project and made an ISO File, which I will play tomorrow (too late now). Looking at the Timeline on my PC one thing is obvious - The waveform shows a gap between Blue Danube and Just a Closer Walk. However, audibly there is no gap. My suspicion is that it has something to do with the types of audio files being used. Maybe the MP3 files are Variable Bit Rate (VBR) and they should be Constant Bit Rate (CBR)?? Someone else might jump in overnight - if not I will continue tomorrow. DG
  18. Greyspider, PLEASE follow instructions carefully: 1. Open your project 2. Go to File / Create Backup in ZIP 3. You will probably find that this file is BIG. 4. If you can possibly do it, reduce the number of images and Audio Files in the project to the MINIMUM required to show the problem. 5. Repeat the Create Backup in ZIP Process and upload to MediaFire or DropBox. Your ZIP file above is unopenable on my PC and a .pte file will NOT show your problem. DG
  19. The rar is another zipping format and whilst totally unnecessary should upload here in advanced options. I have seen it here before. The Windows zip sometimes becomes unavailable when something like rar is installed and then has to be re-installed. Check "right click/new/compressed zip folder".
  20. Are you saving after the adjustments? Can you upload a template/BIZ? DG
  21. Can you post a short example template or BIZ which will show the problem. A couple of slides and two short audios?? Dropbox or Mediafire. DG
  22. Do a search of your hard drive using the exact full name that appears when you publish. Do you have multiple incidences of that file in different folders? DG
  23. Pixbuilder is no longer being developed by WNSOFT and AFAIK the the only spport is here: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/pixbuilder/user-guides/PixBuilder_User_Guide_EN.pdf There are a number of users who, if they spot your post, might jump in. If you post specific question (in OFF TOPIC) someone might help? DG
  24. P.S. As I said in Post#2 this has been discussed before: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/16465-video-clip-length/ DG
