There is alternative. Please read this topic: https://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/19431-new-way-to-adjust-parameters-in-animation-tab/#comment-129565

Blur effect applies to a parent object and all its child objects. It allows optimize Blur for several objects at once together and optimize rendering of a Blur effect (more fast work). Opacity is traditionally in PicturesToExe applies only for necessary object. In future we plan to an option to apply a opacity to child objects (if necessary).

Dave, We still can't catch this rare error. If we could firmly reproduce it, it could be fixed very quickly.

PTE what level of alpha channel support for video
Igor replied to fxdesigner's topic in General Discussion
Hi, Currently PicturesToExe 9 supports alpha channel in video files only in RGBA format. Not YUV format. We plan to add a support of all video formats with alpha channels in future version(s). It's a large work. I think it will be possible once we update video decoders in PTE.- 8 replies

Hi, One user reported me about a problem with a playback of MP4 video created in PTE 9 and copied to USB drive connected to his TV. He can hear a short sound "click" or noise during first 1 second of playback. I don't observe this problem with my LG TV. Can you check with your TV, please? MP4 video, 1920 x 1080, High Quality, 30p.

I confirm this problem. Thanks! We'll fix it quickly.

Thanks, I've understood now. Of course, not all TV / players can play 4K video. You need to check User manual for supported video resolutions. Usually only 4K TVs can play 4K video. Not HD TVs.
-
Dave, Sorry, I didn't understand. Can you explain, please?
-
Gary, I think that Push2TV device may converts 4K video to FullHD on the fly for wireless connection.
-
No. Only in future PicturesToExe. UltraHD 4K video output in PicturesToExe 9.0.5 is based on H.264. Encoding to H.265 works in several times slower than H.264. Several hours to encode 5-10 minutes. Also there is a problem with lack of software and hardware players which can play H.265.
-
Dave, Can you reproduce it?
-
Since version 9.0.5 PicturesToExe officially supports UltraHD 4K video output up to 3840 x 2160. 64-bit version of Windows is required for 4K.

PicturesToExe 9.0.5 is available: Added support of UltraHD 4K video (3840 x 2160) for output. 64-bit version of Windows is required. The Objects and Animation editor displays full slide duration in the status bar. The status bar in the main window now shows a full path to a file for a selected slide. Other improvements. Fixed problem with incorrect work of an option “Use background of a slide” for a custom transition with gradient background. Fixed problem with some slide styles created in previous version 8.0. Fixed problem with a Text object in the Objects and animation editor when “Zoom” parameters could be turned on randomly in all keyframes. Fixed problem. 2-pass video encoding didn’t work. Fixed problem. Protection options for executable show didn’t work. Fixed visual problem with Shape transition effect. Fixed problem with a missing item “Documents” in the tree of folders.

We cannot reproduce this problem. If "Scale keyframes..." option is set for a slide, when I adjust a duration in the Slide options, all keyframes in the O&A editor are corrected proportionally. Please tell me - where exactly you change slide duration?

Hello Patricia, Thanks, we'll fix this problem in the nearest update.
