Dave, Thanks, I'll look tomorrow.
-
Yes, the only problem - it would be nice to use CT to see two slides on the screen. But I'm not sure that it possible easily.
-
Thanks!
-
Dave, I downloaded .ptestyle and it contained an old splitter.
-
Dave, Can you adapt this style for the new splitter object in current Beta version? One more idea. How you think, is it possible to create a movement of an image along this axis: It would be nice slide style

Jeff, I apologize for this problem with uploads to Slideshowclub (if I understood rightly your problem). Current upload limit is 128 MB per 1 file. It worked correctly earlier, but some security update has changed settings of Linux server and I still can't find where to fix it. I'll solve this problem after the final version of PicturesToExe 9.0 (in 2-3 weeks).
-
Gary, We will fix this problem after the release of PTE 9.
-
If I understood rightly this problem, I recommend to create Safe EXE for Internet in a ZIP archive. It should solve this issue.
-
Bruno, Thanks, I understand. Several comments: No. 2 is not actual since PicturesToExe 8.0 can create certified EXE files (Safe EXE for Internet). Yes, we consider the idea to create the player for PTE presentations. A release date of PTE player is not related with release date of v9.0, because it's would be a separate software product. We're working on this idea now. I think that PTE player may also solve issues with NVIDIA/AMD cards in laptops.

Hi, We turned on secure HTTPS connection (SSL) on PicturesToExe forum and Slideshowclub according Google's recommendation. See details here: https://www.wordfence.com/blog/2017/01/chrome-56-ssl-https-wordpress/

I confirm that laptops with AMD video card under Windows 10 does not allow to choose fast external video card for all applications, including PicturesToExe's slideshows. It's shame situation for AMD and Microsoft. We can do it only for NVIDIA video card (any Windows), or for AMD video cards under Windows 7/8. As I know, Microsoft plan to update Windows 10 soon with a new special "Game mode" for better performance. If this mode will solve this issue, we'll activate it for PTE and presentations.
-
Bruno, Thanks for that message. As I know, laptops with Windows 10 should allow to switch between integrated and external video card. Probably user should install NVIDIA or AMD drivers downloaded from their official websites. Also we're working on this issue right now. We hope to include to the code of PTE 9 the permanent solution to automatically run EXE files on powerful external video card in laptops. It should work with Windows 10 and 7, 8.
-
Thanks, Dave! It's an important feature of slide styles.
-
Hi Mark, PicturesToExe 8 includes built-in slide style Zoom In/Out (in Basic category). It allows you quickly add zoom to selected slides and customize it's degree. Currently you can set minimum at 105%. For version 9.0 Beta 18 I will change the range of zoom to allow set 101%.
-
Gary, I couldn't easily fix this problem. It somehow related with server's configuration. The current upload limit is 128 MB per file. I'll try to fix it later.
-
PicturesToExe 9 should be released in February or March.
-
Please try version 8.0. It has the new code for DVD burning than old version 7.5.
-
Gary, I confirm this problem.
-
Gary, OK, I'll check for this problem.
-
Gary, Can you try another browser - Chrome or Edge?
-
Slideshowclub- 'Find their other files' not working

Gary, We fixed this problem. Please can you check? -
Gary, Thanks, I see the problem on your video. I'll check today or tomorrow.
-
Gary, Did you upload only single ZIP file or several files?
-
Please give me some time to explore this subject. If I remember rightly, video drivers in a laptop decide how to run an application - on integrated video card (Intel), or on external video card (NVIDIA/AMD). User can set the option - force run of any applications on external video card.

Thanks for your idea. Yes, it will work well for Mac presentations created with PicturesToExe 8.0.xx. Probably more old presentations also will work.
