Regrettably we can't support color profiles in PNG images in version 9.0. Probably it will appear later.
-
Gogs, Drag'n'drop of selected keyframes is implemented to future PicturesToExe 9. It's only a small part of many improvements which we did in the new Objects and animation editor.
-
jt, Please send me several PNG images to check.
-
jt, Yes. We'll add this option. Paul, PicturesToExe 9 will support ICC profiles in JPEG images.
-
Gogs, Do you mean the timeline view of slides in the main window or keyframes in the Objects and animation editor?

keyframes Multi layered keypoints
Igor replied to Jim Higgins's topic in Suggestions for Next Versions
Jim, Future PicturesToExe 9 can display keyframes of multiple objects together on the timeline. Or you can use classical mode - display only keyframes of selected object. Also it's possible to edit parameters for several selected keyframes at once. -
jt, It happens because O&A always loads images at full size, because user can change size of images at any time. In the preview mode or in the EXE file, the program can calculate the required visual size and loads optimized images to reduce memory usage. Use of optimized images in the O&A editor will case the following problem. If you open an existing slide with an image and you increase a visual size of this image, you'll see low quality image. Or if the program will re-load image, it may cause permanent delays due to increased CPU loading to load re-optimized image to video memory.

Hi John, Yes, now PTE 9 Beta 1 is almost ready.

Hi, We implemented a basic color management to future PicturesToExe 9.0. JPEG images with embedded color profiles (AdobeRGB, ProPhoto, etc) will be automatically converted to sRGB on the fly. Unlike other slideshow programs, PicturesToExe uses hardware acceleration and JPEG images with color profile does not increase CPU loading in EXE presentations.

Hi Gary, I apologize for this problem! I'm afraid I can't change this behaviour of the forum, because it's a way how Invision forum system works. I hope that it will be improved in the nearest updates. We update the forum every several weeks.

Hi, Thank you very much for checking!
-
Eric, Do you use Internet Explorer or another browser? It's a system message and may happen with any downloaded file. You have the possibility to run the downloaded file.

Hi, Please can you help me with testing of downloading of PicturesToExe 8.0 from our new website. Two customers reported me about the problem with not completely downloaded files and I need to check it. 1. Type http://www.wnsoft.com (If your language is French, German, Italian, or English, you will see the translated version of WnSoft website.) 2. Click Download link in the top menu. You should see the Download page. 3. Click Download green button to start the downloading. 4. Run the installation. You'll see a message of Windows that this file is signed by WnSoft. Click OK to continue and you should see the installation window of PicturesToExe. Now please close this window. This confirms that everything is OK. This test will not disturb or change your existing installation of PicturesToExe. Please let me know about a result. Thanks!

I tested PicturesToExe 8.0 on iMac with Bootcam. It works fine. You can try a free trial version, before purchase it. Also you can use PicturesToExe with Parallels Desktop software directly in OS X.

We fixed this problem in future version 9.0.

Joan, Please tell me more details: 1. Exact version of PicturesToExe. See the About window from the main menu -> Help. 2. Name of your antivirus software.

Hi, Thanks, it's a new WnSoft website. And we plan to add more improvements once PicturesToExe 9.0 is released. We're working hard to introduce v9.0 Beta 1 soon.
-
Hi, I know that it's difficult to wait. Please don't worry, PicturesToExe 9.0 will be released soon. We also almost finished the new WnSoft website for PTE 9.0.
-
Hello, Currently we send the license keys only for version 8.0. I expect the first beta of new v9.0 soon. If you plan to use v9.0, please wait.

Hello, I purchased iMac 21.5" 4K Retina (4096 x 2304) for home use and for testing. Installed Parallels Desktop with Windows 10. I couldn't imagine that PicturesToExe works so good inside this emulation. I can run PTE directly on OSX desktop, or run EXE files from OS X. However I'm sure that we should prepare native version of PTE for Mac.

New PicturesToExe Deluxe 9.0 will able to show selected objects/layers on the timeline (in the new Objects and animation editor).

Hello, With sincere appreciation I wish you all the joys of this holiday season. Merry Christmas! Igor,
-
Barry, Exactly. Slideshowclub is working again. We apologize for that problem!
-
Jose, Please create the EXE file smaller than 2 GB.
