  1. Hi, We release the important update 10.5.10 for Mac users of PTE AV Studio 10.5: Fixed problem with wrong fonts in all text captions in macOS 14 Sonoma. Improved playback of .mts video files on Mac. Download Mac: https://files.wnsoft.com/pteavstudio/previous-versions/PTE-AV-Studio-10.5.10.dmg Player for Mac: https://files.wnsoft.com/pteavstudio/previous-versions/PTE-AV-Player-10.5.10.dmg
  2. Jane, Can you send us a copy of your project? If it possible, please send me the all project in a ZIP (see the command "Create backup in a ZIP" from the File menu. Upload to WeTransfer.com or Google Drive and share the download link. You can specify your email address and then copy the download link. Let me know what slide numbers were affected by that issue with transitions. Try also uninstall PTE AV Studio and then reinstall v11.0.9 Beta.
  3. Hi Jane, I apologize for this problem with PTE AV Studio and transitions! This problem should not occur with v11.0.8 if you work with this project all the time. Earlier v11.0.7 could randomly change transitions in certain cases. I didn't hear about the same problem with v11.0.8 yet, except of one case (if you switch between slides inside the Slide Options window. We fixed this issue in v11.0.9 Beta. I recommend you manually reassign required transitioms for all affected slides in this project. Save the project. If the problem will occur again, please let me know (you can send me a personal message through this forum).
  4. Mark, I just updated our Mac mini with Apple Silicon to the latest macOS 14 Sonoma Beta 5. This problem doesn't appear there. Probably Apple already fixed the issue with fonts. Beta 5 is currently available only for developers on Mac.
  5. Try a new Beta version of PTE AV Studio 11: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Studio.dmg We changed a shortcut for Apply Quick Style command: Cmd + Shift + B
  6. It's difficult to recommend a certain solution, because I don't know the exact plan for this animation. It would be not easy to work with 1ms intervals.
  7. Consider using modifiers for your task. Sometimes a single keyframe with 1-2 modifiers can create an animation that would otherwise require a series of many keyframes at short intervals.
  8. Hi Mark, Try a new Beta version of PTE AV Studio 11. It installs as v11.0.8 Build 2: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Studio.dmg https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Player.dmg We fixed the problem with fonts on macOS 14 Sonoma BETA. Let me know about a result. Apple has changed one system library which works with fonts that caused that problem. We found alternative solution. And I'll send bug-report to Apple.
  9. Hi Mark, We've reproduced this issue with our Mac and macOS Sonoma BETA. We'll fix it. Thanks!
  10. Gary, Did you download the latest available version 8.0.23 from WnSoft website? https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/old-versions/ If yes, you can try any previous PTE version from 5.0 to 7.5. All these versions can open your old project and resaved project will open in V11.
  11. Hi Gary, Try the suggestion of Jill. Open your old project in PTE 8. Save the project under a new file name. And then open this updated project in V11. It will help to solve this issue. I just checked it. It seems that since V9, PTE doesn't convert main images to main objects for very old projects (saved V4.xx and earlier).| All the project looks correctly opened in V11, just a main image of a slide doesn't have an option "Main object" that comlicates certain editings. I'm not sure if it worths to fix it now after so many years. P.S. If you cannot find your license for V8, let me know. I'll send you it.
  12. Hi, Thanks for letting us know! We'll modify this shortcut in a Mac version for the nearest update.
  13. No problem. No worries.
  14. Tom, Thanks, I see the problem. We'll check the code.
  15. Thanks, Barry!
  16. Hi Tom, Can you upload a sample video file? And test project with this file (.pte). I can get only a JPEG image from the link above.
  17. Hi John, On first glance it works correctly. Can you create and upload a simple test project with one picture?
  18. Hi Mark, Thanks for letting me know. We'll install the latest Beta of macOS Sonoma tomorrow. Can you check the Main menu > Settings > Language menu. What option is selected now? If not English, switch to English. If you don't see "Settings" item in the main menu, it's the 2nd item from the end. And "Language" it should be the 1st item in the Settings menu. If English is already chosen it's related with a font rendering in PTE AV Studio. It also can be a bug in Beta of Sonoma.
  19. Glad that you solved it. If the problem will occur again, please send me a screenshot. Good luck!
  20. Ken, Attach a fullscreen screenshot - PTE and all the desktop space. Did you adjust font size in Windows? Do you observe this issue in both PTE version 10.5 and 11.0? If the problem occurs with V11 only, try to uninstall it and reinstall again from WnSoft website.
  21. Hi Ken, Try the following: In the Main menu > Settings > Preferences. Choose Toolbars tab. Click "Reset" button to make toolbars configuration by default.
  22. Hi, Thanks for the screenshot. Do I understand righty that this problem occurs only in PTE AV Studio on your Mac? Please let me know, if you use any app (utility) which modifies a keyboard behaviour?
  23. Hi Ken, I cannot reproduce this issue with a new project and 2 slides (images) when I choose "Fade" transition. Please check the About window. The latest version is 11.0.8. If not, update PTE AV Studio. If the problem still occur, try to uninstall and then reinstall PTE AV Studio 11 downloaded from WnSoft website.
  24. Hi, Click the "Tools" button menu. And choose "Undo All Changes". It will revert all changes made in current session of the Objects and animation editor for a current slide. This function is not activated by default.
  25. Show missing fonts is a good idea. We consider also another idea - automatically include vectorized text objects in a .pte project to keep original look for text captions, even if a source font is not available on a certain computer.
