How exactly you open a project - inside PTE AV Studio by clicking Open project command from the main menu > File menu. Or by double clicking on a .pte project file in Finder? 2. Where you save .pte project files? In Documents folder, or Desktop folder? Network drive? We recommend to save project files in user's home folder on Macintosh internal drive. 3. Tell me about configuration (model) of your Mac. And version of macOS.

Perhaps this problem is an interesting example of individual perception of sound volume. For your project, I can hear the result of applying the Fade In effect. Try Dave's advice above. Also try to make the duration of the effect shorter, say 5 seconds, to evaluate the result and compare. Good luck!

Gary, On the same track, the previous audio clip cannot be shorter than the next audio clip. In case of such situation the editor highlights this audio clip by red color. It's the basic conception of PTE audio editor. This case can be solved by using two tracks for each audio clip.

Thanks for the sample project. I see no problem with Fade In/Out in this project. Total duration is 18 seconds. Fade In is 10 seconds and Fade Out is 10 seconds. I attach a screenshot below where I show 2 waveforms. Original soundtrack. And created MP4 video from your project with applied Fade In and Fade Out effects. Also I attach this created MP4 video. Do you hear the same result when you listen to the project on your computer? Test audio.mp4

Please can you send me a copy of your storage with all installed transitions/styles? It's located in a folder "Styles and Transitions". By default, it's located in Documents > PicturesToExe folder. Hi Tom, I checked these Google fonts. Windows automatically creates synthetic bold and italic variants, and it works even in PTE. macOS provides only regular version of these fonts. Regrettably it's not simple task to create a bold variant of a font. It would take a lot of time for our team. Maybe Apple will perform this task in future update(s) of macOS?

I created new custom transition (and transition with variants) which include additional video clips or images. No problem with V11.0.7. I couldn't reproduce the problem with missing files. Hi, Did you observe the same problem in v11.0.6 ? Did it work correctly in previous v11.0.6 ?

Michael, Try the advice suggested above. If the problem occurs with a simple test project (one slide and one audio file), please send us this project. Use a command "Create backup in a ZIP" from the main menu > File menu. Then upload the ZIP archive to Google Drive or WeTransfer.com or iCloud and share the link.

Hi, In your version of PTE AV Studio (Standard edition) you can adjust smooth beginning/ending of an audio clip. These options are called "Fade In" and "Fade Out" in English interface and located in the Project Options > Audio tab. According your screenshow above, I see that you've adjusted 14 seconds for Fade In and 9 seconds for Fade Out for the 1st audio clip. Do you mean the problem with this first audio clip or other other audio clips?

Try to convert/optimize these 3 video clips in a built-in video converter of PTE AV Studio. In the File panel of the main window select one video clip and in the popup menu choose "Convert/Trim Video Clip" command. Leave all otions by default. Then re-add converted video clips back to your project and compare smoothness of a playback. Also you can send us (to WnSoft) a test small project which includes these 3 original video clips where you observe this issue. Use a special command - Create a backup in a ZIP from the main menu > File menu. And upload the ZIP file to Google Drive or WeTransfer.com Then please send me a download link in a personal message through this forum. Let me know a model name graphics card installed in your computer.

Hi, Usually a playback in realtime (preview) should play smooth FullHD video clips (1920 x 1080). For a smooth preview/playback of 4K video clips you need a modern computer with a faster graphics card (NVIDIA or AMD). Especially if you make a collage of several video clips, or transition between two video clips. Anyway, all issues with smoothness appear only in a preview mode, once you create a final MP4 video file, it should play fine on any modern PC or flat TV.

Hi, I updated our Mac Mini with M1 chip (Apple Silicon) to the newest macOS Ventura 13.4.1. No problem with PTE AV Studio 11 (and 10.5). Both versions work correctly. We discovered one reason of freezing on Mac. If a folder chosen in the File Tree (File List) contains at least one JPEG image in CMYK color space, PTE AV Studio will freeze on Mac. We'll fix this problem in the nearest update.

Mark, It would be very hard to implement all desktop features of PTE AV Studio in a mobile version with a small screen. Objects and animation editor and Timeline window are not compatible with mobile screens. It would be a simple slideshow app - choose images and apply slide styles. That's all. And there are many free slideshow apps in this niche. Including free Google Photos. We'll not able to compete with them. So currently we don't plan a mobile version. Sorry. I think that apps like PTE AV Studio are intended for computers to give more creative possibilities - PC or Mac with a large screen.
