Hi John, Thanks for sending me your video file. After checking, I discovered that the issue with audio/video synchronization occurs in Microsoft Media Player only under Windows 10 (we checked 2 computers). And Media Player in Windows 11 plays correctly this video (and other videos from PTE), checked on two computers. VLC and MPC HC players open and play correctly this video on any Windows 10 or 11. QuickTime player in Mac (macOS 14 Sonoma) also plays correctly the video. It seems that Microsoft has improved Media Player code in Windows 11 for better audio/video synchronization.

Hi, You can use one license on 2 computers - Windows and/or Mac. Mac version of PTE AV Studio requires the Pro license. I recommend to install a free trial version on your Mac Mid 2010, because the most likely it's not supported. PTE AV Studio requires Metal graphics support. Usually all Macs since 2012 support Metal graphics.

Hi John, Glad that you found the solution using VLC. I checked a MP4 video creatd in MS Media Player v11.2312.7.0 and audio/video synchronization was perfect. P.S. If you want, send me the original project (backup in a ZIP) and created MP4 video for checking.

John, Thanks for these details. Please try to open your HD video file in another video player. For example, in the latest VLC player. Try my project, attached below. I use it to check audio synchronization in PTE since v5.0. I checked v11.0.11 and found no problem with synchronization in a MP4 HD video and in EXE show. SyncTest.zip

Hi, Let me know exact version of PTE AV Studio (from the About window). Check a state of an option "Synchronize slides and soundtrack" in the Project Options > Advanced tab. This option should be ticked. Do you use MP3, WAV or another format?

Frans, Can you send me this project? Only single .pte file. At what time point and on what slide do you notice a significant difference in synchronization? For example, after 5 minutes, on 30th slide a difference (in synchronization) is about half a second. Please check with another project for the same problem.

Frans, Can you check refresh rate value for both displays? 60 Hz for both, or different values?

I've received an email that this issue is solved now after updating PTE AV Player on Dave's Mac.

Hi Ken, If it possible, please try to reproduce a situation when this issue with corrupted waveforms occurs. And write me a step by step instruction how to reproduce it. Probably we will able to improve the code for waveforms.

Michael, Thanks for these details. Try to disable Motion Blur option in your video output settings. This is a default option (Motion Blur Disabled). I think this should help. Motion Blur requires more memory and is 5-10 times slower. Tomorrow we'll check memory usage using this option.

Hi Michael, Write more details: 1. Exact version of PTE AV Studio. 10.5.x or 11.0.x? If it's V11, make sure that you use the latest update 11.0.11 downloaded from WnSoft website. 2. Version of macOS. 3. Apple Silicon (M1/M2) or Intel CPU? I recommend to restart macOS (reboot the Macbook) if you haven't done so recently. Try to create a video for the Sample Project. Check the main menu > Help > Open Sample Project. Choose "HD or 4K video" publish option with default settings: 1920 x 1080, High Quality, 60p. Motion Blur is DISABLED. Hardware acceleration option is unticked.

You can try a new Beta for Mac: https://www.pteavstudio.com/forums/topic/40461-pte-11012-beta/ This issue occurs when the main window of PTE is displayed on the entire desktop space. After double-clicking on the title of the main window, it is minimized to almost zero size (10 x 10 pixels).

Tony, We've received several messages about similar issue on Mac from other users last several months. After reading your messages, now I realized now that it could be the same issue. It looks as sometimes (very rarely) PTE starts on Mac with a zero size of the main window. We never saw this problem on our Macs. However we'll try to find the permanent solution to avoid such problem in future. As a temporary solution, Mac users can apply our instruction I've suggested above. Thanks again for your message.

Hi Mike, Please read my message in this thread. Auto Update on Mac requires version 11.0.9 or newer. If you have version 11.0.8 or earlier, you need to download the latest version manually from WnSoft website and replace the old version in Applications.

Hi, I checked example which you've sent me. Modifiers are not intended for this task. You need to use keyframes to control opacity (as in your example project). I would prefer a solution with 4-5 slides. One image per slide. No problem to create a slide style for this group of 4-5 slides and common background image through all slides in this group.
