  1. Yes, technologies are changing so quickly. We're modifying code of PicturesToExe to make it crossplatform, not depending on Windows. It also means that we will able easily choose any necessary platform in future.
  2. I apologize for this long waiting. Version of PicturesToExe for Mac in work. We're rewriting the old code of the program for cross-platform version now. That's all I can say now.

    Great effect, Dave! Thanks.
  4. Nice effect, Dave!
  5. This improvement is included to the new offical version 7.5.4 today.
  6. Dave, Thanks for the confirmation. I published official v7.5.4 today.
  7. Thanks, Peter! I published official v7.5.4 today.
  8. Peter, Thanks. We fixed all problems in final update 7.5.4 today.
  9. PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.5.4 is available now Download: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/picturestoexe/picturestoexe-setup.exe (12 MB) List of changes: * Space key toggles Play/Pause in the Objects and animation editor. * Shadows of objects didn't work in a custom transition effect. * Fixed problems with creating of AVI video on some PCs. * Fixed problem with adding of key frames to objects in custom transition effects. * Fixed problems with mini-player in the main window (incorrect state of Play button and incorrect value of time position). * Fixed problem with a wrong project name after undo/redo in some cases.
  10. Joy, This problem is now resolved in version 7.5.3. Please try it.
  11. By the way, even for now PTE doesn't load full JPEG images for thumbnails. We use tricky optimizations for JPEGs. The main work is loading of slides with objects and rendering in GPU.
  12. Peter, We fixed 2 from 3 bugs in this test version: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27544810/picturestoexe-setup-2012-01-23.exe
  13. Thanks. This idea in my TODO list for next version(s). However caching of thumbnails will not in certain cases. If you change slide duration or transition effect duration, or change objects on a slide, thumbnail will be re-created. Also when you adjust size of Slide list and it changes size of thumbnails they also will be re-created again.
  14. Dave, Please try a test version: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27544810/picturestoexe-setup-2012-01-23.exe There was a bug in previous versions. Shadows didn't work at all in custom transition effects. Now the problem should be solved completely.
  15. Peter, Please try a special test version: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27544810/picturestoexe-setup-2012-01-23.exe Does it solve the problem with a project name?
  16. Peter, I just fixed this problem.
  17. Peter, I confirm this bug. I'm working on the solution now...
  18. Dave, We've fixed this problem.
  19. Robert, I'm glad! Please use this version while we're working on the final update 7.5.4.
  20. Robert, If you work in the Slide list view (not timeline view) and drop a new audio file to the Slide list, PicturesToExe will add it to the end of first audio track. To add audio file as a second track you need to go to the Project options window | Audio tab and click "Add track" button, then add a audio file to a selected track. Or switch to the Timeline view in the main window, drag a new audio clip from the File list or from Windows Explorer and drop it below the first track. See the red vertical cursor which points where a new audio clip will be inserted. PicturesToExe will create a new track and add your audio clip there.
  21. Robert (and other users), Please try this special version: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27544810/picturestoexe-setup-space-key.exe Space key now works correctly for Play/Pause in the Objects and Animation editor. If everything is OK, I'll include this code for next update 7.5.4 officially.
  22. Dave, I see this problem. Thank you!
  23. Thanks, We'll add new kind of templates/themes in future versions.
  24. Peter, Thanks, I confirm all three problems. I noticed bug #2 several days ago.
  25. The compact view if waveforms allows to see more details than with the mixed channels view. You can more easily see peaks in audio. This is especially important if take in attention a lack of screen space in the timeline view. This is not a half view of a waveform. We mixe both top and bottom parts of a waveform. Please just try to work a bit longer with the compact view.
