  1. If your project contains PNG/GIF/BMP image files it can cause this difference, because PicturesToExe repacks them to internal lossless format before add to EXE.
  2. I had to delete these links because under Windows 8 their new Start menu is a flat and all links are mixed! So I keep only one link - to main application of PicturesToExe. Regrettably installation package (InnoSetup) doesn't allow easily configure installation for separately for Windows 8 and previous Windows 7/Vista/XP. I'll wait when they add this support.
  3. Gary, We'll remove this highlighting in v7.5.2. Probably we will use this text label for other actions in future versions. To jump to the last slide you can press End key. P.S. Sorry my late responses on the forum, I caught a cold on previous week.
  4. How to Get the Best From This Forum Posting Shows Links to PTE Member's Sites Comments on Slideshows
  5. Dave, It seems that it's impossible to create this effect for any aspect ratio.
  6. Dave, Marcel, Great! A competition of transition effects! Marcel, please upload other linked image files which you use in that custom transition. Xaver, I just thought that masks are not required! It's possible to crop a slide objects with "Canvas Size" parameters. And no masks and more smooth animation of slow PCs.
  7. Xaver, Nice effect! Thanks. P.S. I'll think question with aspect ratio.
  8. Thanks for links, Tom! I'd be happy if somebody can make a custom transition as shown in first link. I really like this effect! http://tympanus.net/Development/Slicebox/ P.S. Both two effects are possible with the editor of custom transition effects.
  9. Can you reproduce same problem with smaller files? Optimal size of all files - up to 100 MB.
  10. Probably it will take even more time. The problem in a fact that PicturesToExe is using previous version of this audio file. And for this reason it can't replace the file.
  11. Andrew, I confirm your findings. Thanks! I'll try to fix this problem in the next update 7.5.2.
  12. Umberto, Can you please send me original project file where I can hear this difference between EXE and created HD video file? What size of all project files?
  13. If you find any new publications about PicturesToExe 7.5 in local magazines please let me know (personal message or email). I add articles to our website. Thanks in advance!
  14. Peter, Robert, My congratulations!
  15. Peter, I confirm this issue. But it happens in all previous beta-versions, RC and final version 7.5. If you start PicturesToExe and switch at least one time to the timeline view (before the steps you've described) this problem will not occur. We'll try fix it in v7.5.2.
  16. Peter, Did you observe it in previous 7.5 or in RC?
  17. PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.5.1 is available now Download: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/picturestoexe/picturestoexe-setup.exe (12 MB) List of changes: + Vastly improved performance for mask objects (more smooth animation). * Fixed problem with visual defects of edge anti-aliasing of Image/Video objects. * Fixed problem with error message after closing Project options or Customize slide windows on some PCs. * Fixed bug with wrong duration in the editor of custom transition effects.
  18. Tom, By default, VideoBuilder creates MPEG2 video files with MPEG audio codec (MP2). If you choose PCM audio codec for MPEG2 video, VideoBuilder creates video and audio streams separately in two files. Please look on the attached screenshot. Probably you changed this option. I recommend set MPEG Audio again.
  19. I tested on my Windows 8 and it works fine. Let's wait for reports from other users.
  20. Hello Heinz, Thanks, I'll check up on our Windows 8 today later. I remember that I tested on Windows 8 and it worked fine earlier. Please can other users try to export H.264 video file in Windows 8, too?
  21. Umberto, Thanks for details! Please try to convert this video clip in PicturesToExe (use popup menu | Convert Video Clip command). Will it solve that problem? What file size of EXE? Do I understand rightly that you have to watch entire show from beginning to hear this problem with synchronization? Try to remove other slides to create as possible more short project.
  22. I agree, if you uninstall any previous version it may remove file association for last working version. Because unstaller "does not know" that another version may use same file association. I'll try to rework this code in future version or updates. Also one important point. Minor updates 7.5.x (like version 7.5.1) by default install into same folder of major version (for example 7.5) and replaces program files of v7.5. If you try to uninstall v7.5 it will remove 7.5.1.
  23. Umberto, 1. Do you have this problem in v7.5 when you create: a. AVI video file with default parameters (MPEG4-ASP codec)? b. HD video file (MP4)? 2. What video format of source video clips? Did you convert them in PicturesToExe to optimize their playback? 3. Can you reprodice this problem with one video clip in a short and simply slideshow?
  24. Hello Cedric, Please excuse me for late response! I confirm this bug! We just fixed it for final version 7.5.1. But I can't reproduce first issue with replacing of audio comment.
  25. Try v7.5.1 beta: If it doesn't help, please let me know.
