Next beta 10 will be most likely in 2-3 days (Navigation bar, non linear speeds for Pan/Zoom/Rotate, textured background, mouse cursor options, pause). Fully functional beta (release candidate) of v5.00 will be within 7-10 days. (Windowed mode, RunApp actions and activated several other "old" options) We expect to prepare final release of v5.00 in 4 weeks (if where will be no unsolved problems or bugs).

Yes, it is paradoxical case when video card works slower than CPU based engine. Mosaic 900 x 900 - it's almost two millions of triangles per frame and 60 times per second. Disable "Hardware acceleration" option and you'll see that this effect will work much faster. We can vastly speed up this effect in the next versions using hardware acceleration, but optimized effect will work only on latest video cards (2003 and later).

It's impossible, because we use scalable objects. And real (internal) font size dynamically generates on the fly for particular screen resolution.

Usually waveform file should be deleted after closing of PicturesToExe. In your case it didn't occur. It's a reason of this problem. PTE loaded an old waveform temp file again and again. I'll check up related code.

"Сover slide" in depending of size of image and size work as Fit Width and as Fit Height.

We justed fixed bug with appearing of startup window. It will work in beta 10.

Thanks, Alain! But I'm afraid it's impossible at this moment. Only modern video cards can do transformation of drop shadow in realtime. And it requires vastly modify PTE. So I leaved your idea for future.

I'll prepare special test which will help to find reason of this problem.

Stephane, I'm very amazed by your excellent work! And I'm happy that our new PicturesToExe 5 can be used for such dynamic slide shows almost video.

Tom, It's a bug, of course. We'll fix it in beta 10 very soon. As a temporal solution, please rotate an image visually. Click near to a corner of an image and rotate it several laps as you need.

We've added support of rotated images to future beta 10

I'm afraid it difficult to do. In v5.00 all that you see on a slide - objects: main image, text comment.
