Hi, We're planning a major improvement to a text object before the final release of version 12.0. I just want to make sure the new code works as intended before announcing it. Regarding the issue of keeping consistent text size between slides. I understand this task. But how can we implement this, if the text size depends on where the text object is added - on a slide or as a child object? Years ago we've added one solution (which, of course, isn't suitable for all cases) - a text comment. The text object has a special mode - text comment. And its size can be controlled through the Project Options (for all slides or for new slides) in the Pro version of PTE AV Studio.

Re-open this project (or restart PTE AV Studio), and the program will remove unused resources associated with this project. This works this way, because user can undo changes (Ctrl+Z) and return some transition with video resources to the project. Therefore, clearing unused resources always occurs when closing the program or closing the project (re-opening the project).

Hi, That's a good idea, thanks. But in the future V13, we plan to add multiple slide tracks, which will allow the logo to be displayed with better flexibility and customization. An universal tool would better than specialized tool.

Hi Mark, JPEG-XL support is in our plans, not sure about V12. Do you have a lot of these images or only a few? Interesting fact: JPEG format is much better suited for PTE AV Studio because it includes amazing optimization. When displaying a reduced size version of an image, such as thumbnails for the Slide List, images for a mini-player, or fullscreen previews/EXE show on a low-resolution monitor (1920x1080), the JPEG decoder loads the image in 3-4x times faster than a fullsize image. It works only for classical JPEG.

I really like the idea of multiple slide/object tracks. We've already written some of the code. One of the most important ideological questions is slide duration and transition duration. You can already see (V11) the difference in the timing concept for slides and audio clips - they are calculated differently. I'd like to discuss this topic after the release of V12.

Hi Jill, Thanks for your message! I confirm the issue with Master/linked video objects. In V12 it is NOT possible to copy and paste a slide which contains a Master video / Linked video object. If I start a new project in V11, create a series of slides with Master/video objects, these slides are being copied/pasted correctly. Please wait when we fix this problem for V12. Hi, I just checked - created a new custom transition with a video mask in V11 and then opened it in V12 Beta 6 - the transition worked fine. Please let me know, did you test this particular transition in the previous Beta 5? If the transition was created earlier (in V11), check its work in V11. Also you can send us the all storage of custom transitions for checking. Send me a personal message with a download link. Usually custom transitations are located in a folder: Documents > PicturesToExe > Styles and Transitions > Transitions

Most likely, playing 4K 60p video at double speed in the preview was already pushing the limits of the PTE and your computer. In V12, we completely rewrote the video playback code (the algorithm for loading and displaying frames) to improve smoothness and to support smoother playback of variable refresh rate videos (these video files are becoming more common now - from new iPhones). I think the right solution would be use of proxy video for real time previews. We're already considering it.
