Hi Igor, I have reworked my problem show using different slide styles and transitions. It plays beautifully so I think that the problem must be something to do with the combination of slide styles and transitions that I used in the first show. Thank you for trying to find the root cause. Rosemary

Thank you for posting a lovely show. I enjoyed it because it is so nice to see another "cruise show" We were on the Nordam from Auckland to Vancouver last March and I am trying to make a show for each port. The water slopping in the pool is familiar. We had 4 days between Hawaii and Vancouver when all the deck doors were locked as were the balcony doors. Lots of broken china and Booze bottles. Our first cruise was on the Amsterdam 29 years ago. Great ship Rosemary

Hi Igor, Thank you for trying to reproduce my transition problem. I have tried to record the screen using Windows but it doesn't work so I just used my phone. I hope you can see the problem. I shall send it via We Transfer. Thank you Jienense. I shall try your method. It is weird that this should happen after a slidestyle. Any transitions chosen after a slidestyle do not seem to register. All I have is a "cut" transition.

Igor I have sent the zip of the show. The problem now starts at slide #52 Pic DSC5128. I have also sent a message. Rosemary

I am not sure if this is the same problem as Des. I am in the middle of a show and when I try to change a transition it does not work. I have set Basic Transition Dissolve as my default. Periodically, I have tried to select "page turn" and it does not work. I have tried others with no result. The pictures appear as if there is no transition between them. I have since noticed that the transitions seem to stop working after the end of a slidestyle selection on a group of slides. I am using Windows 10 and PTE AV Studio 11.0.8. I have tried a "new show" and selected different transitions and that works fine. Thanks for any input. Rosemary

VBL 2007 - I have just tried to install this style again and it went into Slide Styles with no problem. No Idea why I would of got the message that I did.. Anyhow problem solved. Thanks again for this style and all the others of your kind donations that I have. Rosemary

Hi VBL2007, Unfortunately I cannot install your style to PTE. I get a message stating "Cannot import this slide style. The file is damaged, or it was created with a newer version of PTE AV Studio" I am using version 11.0.7 I love the style so do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Rosemary

Thanks for sharing your adventures in Ireland. The one that interested me most was Derry to Carrickfergus - my childhood and youth days. It was interesting to see Ireland from a visitor's point of view. Rosemary

Beautiful show thanks for sharing. We spent 3 years in Malta from 1969 -72. We hardly recognize the Island now! Rosemary

I agree with SoCu. It would be a great idea if the program was able to categorize the number of slides required for a particular style. I spend a lot of time going through the slide style list! Rosemary

I cheat with Barry's tutorials. I have them on a laptop and use my PC to follow along. It helps me a lot to see/hear what the instructions are and have the ability to stop the laptop as I carry out the instructions. BTW Rosy, I love your Airfryer show. Rosemary A

Some time ago, Barry B (I think) mentioned that if one wants to have the page transition roll in a tight curl then do.......Can anyone tell me if this is possible or was I just misinterpreting what was said. How does one achieve this effect? I have the Pro version. Rosemary

Hi. Is anyone else not able to download this style into PTE AV Studio? I download it to "downloads" but when I try and import it into PTE I get a message " cannot import this style. The file is damaged, or it was created with a newer version of PTE Av Studio" I am using 11.2. Rosemary

Great job. Worth the effort. When we lived in the UK, we didn't have a dishwasher. We emigrated to Canada and our first house had a dishwasher. We moved Provinces and our next house had one too but it broke after a week! We lasted a few days and hubby was putting in a new one. Amazing how we all evolve!! Rosemary

Thanks for the tip Jill. Unfortunately, the option to split the clip is greyed out. All the other options are available. I am using the Pro Version. I can't remember if I told PTE11 to copy setting from 10.5 or not Rosemary

I have just played the original show with the extended music running long after the show stops ( the music post show does not play beyond the last slide) I still cannot get the extra music deleted. The transitions behaved beautifully! Definitely gremlins somewhere. Rosemary

Thanks Jill. This was a weird one. I have successfully downloaded the other video shows made with 10.5 in the Norwegian trip series and they all play fine. The only thing different is the number of videos in the "broken" show. I hear your advice about the file system. 10.5 is probably in my downloads folder.
