  1. "Safe Executable for Internet" Why do so few people seem to be using it? (Genuine question - not exasperated comment). It is supposed to obviate the Anti Virus problems and yet I see very few examples of it being used in Downloads from Slideshowclub etc. Does anyone know of an example of Anti Virus blocking a "Safe Executable for Internet"? DG
  2. It runs really well on my system - no glitches of any description. 10 Minute D/L. DG
  3. Hi Robert, I have no idea where your frames went but you don't need them. Just drag the BG image into the Slide List as a Main Object (multiple times). Then add your Objects/Images to the BG Image. That way you can reduce the size of the Main Image later to whatever percentage you require and everything else will be reduced to the same %. I think that's what I said?? DG
  4. Ah, but you need to look at the two methodologies, perhaps? DG
  5. I should have copyrighted that Icosahedron!!!
  6. Once upon a time I was a Photoshop user and I seem to remember a feature which allowed you to "Extract Video Frames to Layers". Using this you could extract X number of frames from a video clip at a specified interval. I don't know how feasible it would be to extract the necessary frames and export them in a way in which they could be used to produce a similar effect?? I think that IF it were possible it would mean far less wear and tear on a DSLR shutter? Shoot 15fps and extract one out of every 15? Any Photoshop users able to comment? Is there a limit on the number of layers? Could the Layers then be automatically saved as individual JPEGs? DG
  7. Oh, that's observant of me!! DG
  8. I notice that we can now go directly to the PTE Facebook Page from the Forum. DG
  9. Dave, Why not try a different, smaller file as a test? You can add a note - "do not authorise" and ask for confirmation of upload. That would give you some idea of where the problem lies? DG
  10. Hi Dave, Brilliant work!! DG
  11. Here you go: http://www.wnsoft.com/archives/ Scroll down the page. Use the UNINSTALL utility in the PTE Folder on your C drive. DG
  12. I am trying to get help for where to download. Back soon. DG
  13. I have suggested that many times on this forum. +1 DG
  14. Did you try the Uninstall / Re-Install? DG
  15. Do a complete uninstall/reinstall first to see if that cures it. Then upgrade to 7.5 - installs in a different folder to 6.5 so you will have both - you can then come up to date slowly. When you are ready you can upgrade to v8. DG
  16. Hi Peter, Thanks for pointing that out. It caused me to go back and see if I had missed something, which I did! I was also making the point that it does no harm to have some pre-defined masks ready to be used in conjunction with pte's. DG P.S. It must be an age thing - I rotated Masks in the Morphing Style that I posted......... I remember now that you cannot distort a Diamond Mask made in PTE across the corners?? If it is made as a Diamond in an image editor then it can be distorted across corners..............
  17. Exact resolution AR is possible via "Size/Position......" DG
  18. You can re-size/distort after creating it. It's a good idea to make some masks in an image editor. One that I find useful is a diamond shape with and without feathering. DG
  19. There's more?? Great show (again). DG
  20. "I tried 'Run as administrator' and that just gave the same result showing an error box full of missing files" Glad it is now working. DG
  21. My reading is that it is opening the LAST SAVED FILE each time. Connect to Internet.(Are you networking your file storage?) Open PTE - Click OK - do File/New. Save it. Close and re-Start PTE. Unticking "Load last project..." in Preferences / Project might be a better option for you. DG
  22. Added Igor's article - Linked Images. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/linkimages DG
  23. Updated the Article on "Third Image" with additional images and video. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/thirdimage DG
